More than 1,000 veterans speak out against Trump's 'sustained attacks' on Vindman

More than 1,000 military veterans have signed on to a letter condemning President Trump over his "sustained attacks" on Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the Army official who provided damaging testimony during the House's impeachment inquiry and was later recalled from the White House's National Security Council (NSC).

The letter, which was organized by the anti-Trump group National Security Action, condemned the dismissal of Vindman and his twin brother, Lt. Col. Yevgeny Vindman, saying it suggests that Trump is prioritizing "a personal vendetta over our national security."....

Signatories of the letter include former U.S. Army Europe Commander Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling, former Under Secretary of Defense Frank Kendall and former Connecticut Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Shepard Stone, The Military Times first reported.

For every 1000 “outraged” I’ll bet there are 100,000 who think Vindman is lucky not to be facing court martial.

The funny thing is that since liberals know nothing about patriotism and serving in a military uniform they think this is impressive. Benedict Arnold was a veteran too. If McAmnesty was still around he would be organizing the lest so what good it it?

Let me guess, they’re all former DOJ employees too...?

I still can’t believe that, after all this, the Army is actually sending Vindman’s sorry ass to the War College. They ought to send him to a recruiting post in Nome, Alaska!

Another retired Army veteran...

Do we really believe the numbers? We know they lie and cheat...

So here's a joke..that tie's into what I said...

Arkansas Dog

A young Arkie goes off to college. Half way through the semester, having foolishly squandered all of his money on his girlfriend - he calls home.

"Dad," he says, "You won't believe what modern education is developing! They actually have a program here at Hendrix that will teach our dog, Ole’ Blue how to talk!"

"That's amazing," his Dad says. "How do I get Ole’ Blue in that program?"

"Just send him over here with $1,000" the young Arkie says, "and I'll get him in the course."

So, his Father sends the dog the $1,000.

About two-thirds of the way through the semester, the money again runs out. The boy calls home.

"So how's Ole' Blue doing son?" his Father asks.

"Awesome, Dad, he's talking up a storm," he says, "but you just won't believe this -- they've had such good results they have started to teach the animals how to read!"

"Read!?" says his Father, "No kidding! How do we get Blue in that program?"

"Just send $ 2,500, I'll get him in the class."

The money promptly arrives. The Arkie and his girlfriend are able to buy enough marijuana to last the whole semester.

But our hero has a problem. At the end of the year, his Father will find out the dog can neither talk, nor read. Even though he was always pretty much able to lie his way out of trouble, the Arkie asked his girl friend to help him think of a really good lie to tell his Dad. She very quickly came up with a plan for him.

So she has him shoot the dog.

When he arrives home at the end of the year, his Father is all excited.

"Where's Ole' Blue? I just can't wait to see him read something and talk!"

"Dad," the boy says, "I have some grim news. Yesterday morning, just before we left to drive home, Ole’ Blue was in the living room, kicked back in the recliner, reading the Wall Street Journal, like he usually does".

"Then Ole' Blue turned to me and asked, so - is your Daddy still messing around with that little redhead who lives down the street?"

The Father went white and exclaimed, "I hope you shot that lying dog before he talks to your Mother!"

"I sure did, Daddy!"

The kid married his girlfriend, they both went on to law school, he became Governor of Arkansas and President of the United States, and you already know what a liar his girlfriend turned out to be!

I haven’t heard any “sustained attacks..” on Vindman. This sounds like a plea for attention.

Overused Democrat tactic

Clinton and his defenders used to tout the “800(?) Constitutional experts” who agreed that he did nothing wrong

if Trump did the same, the media would demand to see ALL of the names so they could grill them and dox them

There are a select number of West Point cadets that attend Ranger school while at the academy. There are far more active duty personnel that go to Ranger school just to get the tab and punch a ticket for promotion, but never do an assignment in the 75th Ranger Regiment or any other infantry or combat arms unit. Then there are those who earn their tab and do duty with an infantry unit, a Ranger battalion, a Special Forces group or USASOC. I honestly don’t know Vindman’s history, but after watching his performance in his testimony, I’m shocked that he wasn’t “peered out” of Ranger school.
