Stone is a clown and should get 3 1/2 for being stupid and taunting.

For doing what Comey, Brennan, McCabe et al did to an even worse degree and got off free?

Not the right hill to die on.

Why not?

He’s an arrogant jerk who thought he was above the law.

That might be but considering the company he’s keeping for like minded charges I would consider Roger the least contemptable.

That is much better than the crooked prosecutor’s original request. While it seems absurd relative to others getting off scot-free, there is no doubt he lied multiple times under oath, with the intent to impede investigations, one of which was being led by republicans.

The jury foreperson problem should give him a new trial, but given the other 11 found him equally guilty, it is not likely that replacing that juror would have made a difference. Still, it might open an avenue for a settlement rather than a new trial, and maybe a plea to a lesser set of charges that would keep him from prison.

Forget the sentence, the trial was riggwd.

The jury was tainted.

The verdict should be tossed.

The judge, too.

I think a pardon is not out of the question - as long as Stone agrees to slither away.

The Judge is an Obama appointee, you can just smell the bias in every word she says..and the case should be thrown out and have a new trial..you cannot have a fair trial with a jury that was anti Trump

“Originally 7 to 9 years. After Trump’s Tweet Barr backed off of that and didn’t give a specific recommendation”

Barr didn’t back off AND he gave specific recommendations.

The judge followed Barr’s recommendations.

Despite all of the judge’s biased statements against Stone and Trump, this sentence proves that the original sentencing guideline was too high and that the new sentencing guideline was absolutely appropriate, because she followed the new recommendation.

Immediate incarceration, or a chance to appeal?

There's always a right to appeal. I believe the Judge said last week she would delay the start of any sentence to allow for the appeal.

Barr just got the green light. Hush up. He can now light up the whole leftist cabal.

Fireworks by July.

Because Trump already got what he said he wanted.

The juror lied. The judge and at least some of the attorneys knew it.

The verdict should be thrown out.

With prejudice, if that’s possible.

And the judge and attorneys sanctioned.

ANd that’s why judgie’s handlers ordered the sentence.

I’m thinking the Rats have a script prepared for Stone’s pardon.

I’d also like to see the forewoman charged with perjury, but I won’t hold my breath.
