LAS VEGAS -- Mike Bloomberg became a piñata, and Elizabeth Warren resurrected her feisty side.
The Democratic candidates formed a circular firing squad Wednesday night, with arrows flying in all directions and fights breaking out among a seemingly infinite permutation of candidates on matters from health care policy to lewd comments about women.
It was the billionaire entrepreneur's first time on the debate stage, and his rivals made the most of it. He was slammed on everything from his record on stop-and-frisk to the millions he's sinking into his campaign. Bloomberg kept his composure, standing stone-faced, barely smiling, but he seemed unprepared for an entirely predictable series of attacks.
Sanders entered the debate as the front-runner for the nomination - in Nevada and nationally - and nothing in the debate knocked him off his stride.
Warren, a senator from Massachusetts, dispensed with the milquetoast unifier persona that served her poorly through Iowa and New Hampshire and revived the fiery progressive warrior more reflective of her authentic self.
The former vice president, bleeding support nationally after poor showings in Iowa and New Hampshire, sought to correct course with a performance that was at times lively.
Buttigieg, facing a new test in a more diverse state after strong showings in Iowa and New Hampshire, urged Americans not to let Sanders and Bloomberg become the only two choices, saying the senator wants to "burn this party down" and the billionaire wants to "buy this party out."
Klobuchar, a senator from Minnesota, impressed at the New Hampshire debate and finished a better-than-expected third in the primary.

What a pathetic group.
Hillary Clinton won the Debate last night.
I lasted 12 minutes - anyone else stay around longer than that?
President Trump, again. 8>)
Trump and America won. Comrade Bernie stopped Little Michael and did himself a world of good.
Trump won again.
President Donald J. Trump, America and Americans.
A number of us watched the whole thing. It was historic, best debate ever. See the live FR thread.
If you are Bloomberg and at the end of the night you are rightly compared more to Harvey Weinstein than any past President, you know things did not go well.
I watched none but my wife watched the whole thing and said it was immensely “entertaining”
Kinda like a really bad car crash I guess, just can’t look away.
Degrees of losing.
Good thing there weren’t any folding chairs up there.
I watched it on you tube after the fact. Nearly every comment was pro trump. These people live in a bubble and have no idea how disconnected they are from the proletariat. Outside of the 18 to 25 crowd, they are a joke.
Everyone is rightfully hyped about the Bloomberg mugging, but I thought Amy Klobuchar had a terrible night. It probably shut the coffin on any last gasp attempts as an underdog. Maybe even killed her VP hopes.
She came across as whiny and defensive. The Latinx Vampira commentator (everyone hilariously laser focused on her when she was speaking, so they could follow her accent) knee-capped Amy about not knowing who was the current Mexican president. Amy’s hurt-feeling teenager reaction was definitely not presidential.
No winners, only losers
Biggest losers-Warren came across as a screechy harridan devoid of any ideas except spending money. She waved her hand around trying to get called on and interrupted on every question.
Loser-Klobucher-”Do you think I’m dumb, are you mocking me”? Ah, yes. Her voice cracked and I tought she was going to cry.
For me the least loser was Bloming Idiot-He called Bernie a communist, which caused Warren to scoff, he pointed out Bernie is a socialist millionaire with three houses, and stated that America won’t vote for a socialist. Those were the only three cogent points in 2 hours.
But then I’m not insane.
Democrats are so screwed...
Donald J. Trump!
