Right after tonight’s big Democratic debate, there was a general consensus on CNN that it went very badly for Michael Bloomberg.
Van Jones put things the most succinctly when he said it was a “disaster” for the former New York mayor:
“Bloomberg went in as the titanic — billion-dollar-machine titanic. Titanic, meet iceberg Elizabeth Warren. She took him to task in a way that I’ve never seen in a debate. She took it over, she prosecuted him. But the worst part about it is for me a lot of African-Americans are placing great hope in Bloomberg, despite the stop and frisk… you’re seeing people trying to move over there, and he just wasn’t ready. He was tone-deaf on issue after issue, and the reason why — he’s not beenin those living rooms, he hasn’t been doing those town halls.”
“His answer on women was terrible, he got destroyed on the NDA question, his answer on stop and frisk was as bad as it could possibly be, and then he basically lied on his answer when it came to redlining,” Jones continued. “He let people down tonight.”

And as I said, his accomplishments in life tower over the rest of the candidates. What have they ever done other than to be government leeches?
I had no clue Bloomberg had a whole bunch of NDAs in his history.
He hired all these top notch political operatives, and none of them knew about the NDAs and how toxic they would be in the Democratic nominating process?
Some staffer is going write a great tell-all book about this stuff!
I agree with him being the adult. Looked like he was in an alien world. But he has one hell of an uphill battle digging out from tonight. Not sure he can. 1st impressions and all.

These are very strange times, politics is no longer what it once was ( though we've had VERY "dirty" politics since this nation began ), but there isn't ANYONE out there, running in the Dem primary or not, who can beat Trump...even with ILLEGALS and prisoners AND massive voter fraud!
I have not only been interested, rabidly so, in politics and history since I was a very small child. I also have pretty good "gut instincts" about it.

I think Bernie still has the momentum. The ‘Rats mistimed the Biden implosion and Blooperberg ain’t gonna cut it. Bernie takes it on the first ballot.
Let’s assume...
1. A brokered convention.
2. Sanders is a non-starter for moderates and, just assume, NONE of the existing candidates are in the mix.
3. Hillary is out if you’re correct.
Who do they pick?
They are going to let Bernie have it they have no choice Bernie will lose which will also drop the Squad a notch or two!!! They know they have NO ONE that can beat Trump anyway so it might as well be Bernie let that wing of the party go down in flames and be done with it!!!
Bloomy has lots of money; however, he, personally didn't actually do much of anything, on his own, as Trump has, to get him there. He also has NO charisma, is a crappy nanny-stater, a dreadful liar, and is a condescending elitist with a Napoleon complex!

The Dems are going to have to pick someone to sacrifice, from that mob and NOT try to come up with some "white knight" who will come into the Convention a la a Deus Ex Machina.

A truly pathetic bunch. Fist time I’ve seen the clown debate. Pocahontas and Commie Bernie two angry psychos full of self righteous indignation and hate. God save us if either one were to ever get elected. Bloomberg was utterly pathetic. He was eviscerated by the squaw. Reminded me of Kermit the frog the way he puckered his non-existing lips.
Buttplug was glib but never said anything. Reminded me of a high school boy running for class president. Klobuchar - what the hell is she doing there? Truly a non entity. And plugs was his moronic self bragging about his useless Washington experience.
Trump is smiling ear to ear tonight.
The fact that Van Jones thinks Bloomberg is tone-deaf probably means he benefited the most from the debate. Because inside the dictionary definition of tone-deaf is a picture of Van Jones. If Bloomberg took some damage from this debate, we’ll know from the polls in the weeks ahead.
