Jewish leaders in the U.K. have stated that they will oppose educational authorities and not allow their schools to teach about homosexual and other lifestyles that are prohibited by the Torah.
Chinuch U.K., an organization that represents Britains main strictly Orthodox Jewish communities, has issued a defiant challenge to the government by insisting their schools cannot discuss LGBT-related issues with pupils, according to The Jewish Chronicle.
The statement was reportedly prompted by recent visits to Jewish schools by government inspectors, who made it clear that primary schools have to teach children about LGBT equality.
In 2018, Rabbi Mordechai Rose, who is affiliated with Chinuch U.K., wrote an articleexplaining his concern that Orthodox Jewish schools would be closed down after having their status downgraded by government inspectors from outstanding to inadequate because they did not prepare the students for life in secular modern Britain but for life in the Orthodox Jewish community. Earlier in 2018, almost 7,000 Orthodox Jews had gathered in communalprayer in opposition to attempts by educational authorities to make them teach values contrary to the Torah in their schools.
The statement released by the Jewish group last week says schools should not describe to pupils lifestyles prohibited by the Torah and should ensure that inspectors do not speak to pupils about these matters at all.
It says schools, when asked by inspectors, should state clearly and respectfully that they do not cover these subjects.

Good luck with that
If BoJo can’t stop this nonsense, he’s useless.
Excellent! But hopefully they have some good lawyers and/or some powerful friends in Parliament.
“Good luck with that”
Wouldn’t it be just WONDERFUL if the Jews in the UK join the Muslims in this opposition (particularly because the Muslims don’t just play footsie when they oppose something). It would be a dream come true for our side.
Oh oh! Get your attics ready, folks!
We’re down in the weeds here, but do Muslims get a pass on teaching LGBT lifestyles? If so, why not Jews?
Is the UK forcing Muslims to teach this crap in their religious schools?
Good. At least there are still males with standards.
UK Chief Rabbi Mirvis heretical views come home to roost.
So did the rabbis who were all in favor of queers marrying one another, giving special protections to trans-gender folks who choose any one of four dozen "sexes", and impeaching President Trump for being an honest man and trying to look into massive corruption on the part of US elected officials.
So, it'll either be just another special exemption for another group with some political pull or they'll just have to deal the consequences of their counterparts in the US wanting to destroy Western Civilization.
The apikorsim that that call themselves reform rabbis have very little relationship with actual Judaism.
Convenient opinion, but it seems to me they really are Jews or the very few who don't fit the same mold and do have a relationship to Judaism would publicly call them out for besmirching the name of their faith.
"You vill be sodomized drie times a day until you like it, ja?"
I’ve read what you’ve written about 10 times, and it still makes no sense.
What I stated is not an opinion; it is a fact.
The Deformed, er, the Reform, are heretics.
Good boy, have a puppy treat.
Won't happen, because the Muslims will never be pushed on this issue.
Wrong. First of all, some of the "rabbis" to which you refer are undoubtedly women. Women cannot be rabbis according to Jewish law. The male "rabbis" to which you refer do not follow a true Torah lifestyle, breaking laws left and right. Those who show such flagrant disregard for G-d's laws certainly would not have "...the best Advocate and most powerful Friend there is..."
The dispute between the two of you is really very simple to solve.
Rashputin, you seem to have made the argument that just because a lot of liberal or leftist rabbis in the United States have taken positions that are counter to the Bible and/or western civilization, that therefor rabbis everywhere are somehow or other not allowed to take a stand in favor of Bible values or western civilization, lest you call them hypocrites.
I would say that you are incorrect, with the following example: do you agree that every priest or minister speaks the truth about Bible values or western civilization? Given the very large number of priests and ministers, and the very wide diversity of opinions among them on issues of religion and politics, I think that you would say no. OK, then priests and ministers are in exactly the same position as the rabbis, which is to say that they as a group have very diverse opinions. Does the fact that some priests and ministers who adhere to what you believe are incorrect values thus somehow make those who do adhere to the proper religious and political values, wrong? I would say no, and I believe that you also would. So what is the difference between the two groups, other than their religion? None.
Just because some, or even most, rabbis, priests and ministers may have incorrect views on religion and politics, does not mean that those men of the cloth who do have the correct values are wrong. Frankly, we should be celebrating and supporting these men of the cloth who continue, despite fierce opposition by their own colleagues and communities (and even governments), to adhere to their faith and to the civilization that fosters their (and our) faith.
