The Justice Department pushed back Tuesday night at multiple reports claiming Attorney General William Barr told people close to him hes considering stepping down over President Trumps tweets, days after Barr admitted that Trumps tweeting made it impossible for me to do my job.
Addressing Beltway rumors: The Attorney General has no plans to resign, DOJ spokeswoman Kerri Kupec tweeted.
Barr has his limits, one person familiar with Barrs thinking told The Washington Post.
Its report suggested that Barr wanted Trump to get the message to stop weighing in publicly in ongoing criminal cases. An administration official gave a similar admission on Barr to The Associated Press.

Yet another Dept of Injustice "investigation" that take years and produces absolutely no charges for Democrats and coup plotters.
That's how they pacify and play us all.
Barr will NEVER hold Soros, Obama, and Hillary accountable.
“Attorney General William Barr told people close to him”~~~Fake news dead giveaway.
...and Trump is the Last President.
Said by every administration official just before they resigned. Or were fired.
Barr publicly stated that Trump's Tweets on judges made it impossible to do his job. The President has made it clear he's not going to stop. The ball is in Barr's court now.
The “correction” on this should be Barr’s initial tweet reaction was concern the way certain lefty judges would push false claims of Presidential interference which is what is happening.
... he should be tweeting more, and directing the Justice Dept more on this. I would appoint a Special Counsel directly if I were him. the Justice Dept is incapable of doing this in these present circumstances.
Who to trust in the role of SC?
Who to trust as AG?
Might be a good shake up to make Barr SC, assuming he's open to the reassignment. But generally speaking, SC is a mistake. SC from inside DOJ will whitwash all DOJ malfeasance, and SC from within the government will likely "flip" and run a get-Trump operation.
An investigation of Bongino?
“He already said in that TV interview a few day’ ago that President Trumps tweeting made it impossible’ for him to do his job.”
But he isn’t doing his job. There are so many excellent attorneys who would be 100% on board with Trump’s agenda, but we continue to get those who sabotage him. I expect it’s more of the same where Swamp Creature McConnell told PDJT who he’d push through and who he wouldn’t. POTUS is not in charge.
So was this leaked by a known white house leaker or was it leaked by no leaker and entirely made up.
“If he isnt going to prosecute any of the well known crimes, he may as well quit.”
Same goes for FReepers who never donate - if they ain’t gonna be investing of themselves toward the goal, they may as well quit too.....right?
I think they are getting all their ducks in a row and will overwhelm the swamp in the perfect time. Those who care about truth justice and our country will fight with everything they have. We need to be patient. Timing is everything.
When you’re getting the most flak, you’re over the target. Some peoples is scared. Good. I sincerely hope their fears are all justified.
I hope they resolve any differences privately, but Trump is the boss and I don’t like how McCabe escaped prosecution. Barr is the one who should shut up in public. If he has an issue he should take it up with the President.
“Barr is the one who should shut up in public. If he has an issue he should take it up with the President.”
Agree. I have a problem with the Attorney General expressing the view that President Trump - who is, after all, a citizen - shouldn’t express his thoughts because, you know, it makes life “difficult” for the Attorney General. You would have thought, after a lifetime in the law, Barr would have developed more respect for the first amendment.
Next thing you know, we’ll have asshole judges refusing to let accused people stand up for themselves... oh, wait, that’s happened TOO, with Roger Stone.
One possibility is he told only one person be was thinking of quitting...in order to weed out a leaker. Time will tell.
Bottom line-why can’t the President speak directly to the voters?
Any President...any voters??
If he isnt going to prosecute any of the well known crimes, he may as well quit.
*****
If Trump doesnt give his incessant tweeting about every G#d D@mn thing on the planet its going to cost him big time. He especially needs to stop commenting about the Justice Department. If Barr quits the Deep State will have won. Trump just needs to shut his pie hole about Justice activities, period.
Alright, when Barr first started this crap, I said Trump should fire him for insubordination.
So many smart people were convinced this was the greatest political play ever and showed some genius performance between Barr and Trump and defended Barr’s rank insubordination.
Now that is a week later, and the Attorney General is still making demands on his boss for keeping in his role do you still agree?
Folks, the peril is not over, and the thing that will end this Presidency quicker than you can say “Jack Robinson” is this free-wheeling bullshit.
Mr Trump, the AG has spent a week saying he will not do his job because you are speaking directly to the American people.
If this some act — end it.
If this is Barr’s real attitude— fire him.
Seriously, if Barr is still in there, with this attitude: I am out.
I didn’t sign up for any suicide mission.
Uh, huh. Trump should shut up and let the deep state do its work. Hell, all we have to do is wait two or three decades and we might see some underling brought to justice (maybe). Until then... Trump should just shut up because, you know, Trump should just shut up!
NONSENSE.
Hopefully what we are hearing is exaggerated and there is no serious breach between Barr and Trump. MSM will try to create one if they can.
