WASHINGTON - Attorney General William Barr has told people close to President Donald Trump - inside and outside the White House - that he is considering quitting over Trump's tweets about Justice Department investigations, three administration officials said, foreshadowing a possible confrontation between the president and his attorney general over the independence of the Justice Department.
So far, Trump has defied Barr's requests, both public and private, to keep quiet on matters of federal law enforcement. It was not immediately clear Tuesday whether Barr had made his posture known directly to Trump. The administration officials said Barr seemed to be sharing his position with advisers in hopes that the president would get the message that he should stop weighing in publicly on the Justice Department's ongoing criminal investigations.
"He has his limits," said one person familiar with Barr's thinking, speaking on the condition of anonymity, like others, to discuss internal deliberations.

Barr doesn’t have to read or follow those tweets either. Just do the job he’s doing now. A damn good one. But it wouldn’t hurt Trump to lay off tweeting about doj stuff somewhat.
Well, I don’t know if this is true but I will say this: everyone that was rumoured to be in a feud with Trump turned out to be a gigantic no-good swamp snake. All of them. Kelly, Mattis, Bolton, Tillerson were all working against the President. So if there’s a feud brewing here, I know whose side I’ll be on.
Well, we have certainly seen ZERO indictments of #TheSwamp since he was named AG. Zero. Yet, there is plenty of evidence. That tells me something. Apologies to the Q folks, but Barr is not on our side.

Laura is great... and she is a STRONG TRUMP supporter... and she is right on this count.
Ultimately Trump will need to do what he feels is right, and we all love him... but he isn’t 100% perfect every time.
The mark of a strong man is if he is strong and confident enough to take some advice if it is good. I say this is good advice from Laura.
If the Presidents tweets bother Barr that much Barr should resign. Maybe the President should tell him to leave.

from the moment it was known - in 2017 - that Clinton/DNC funded the fake Steele Dossier - coup-plotters should have been indicted.
for the Mueller investigaton to continue way past the mid-term elections - which no doubt affected those elections - was a travesty.
for MSM & pundits to be still lauding Clinton and discussing seriously the idea she might run again - even as possible VP - is unbelievable and shows just how corrupt the system is.

I often wonder how coordinated his tweets are. It sure seems like he captures and deflects attention of the media (et al) all the while quietly having his team carry out keeping his promises. Also I think Trump’s tweets force the swamp dwellers to panic and then make mistakes in carrying out their sedition so they get exposed. Just my impression that it’s all more planned than one might think because the list of Trump’s accomplishments is bigger that the media’s reporting would indicate. In other words, surface impressions of the Trump administration are just not matching up with the massive amounts of good change they have pulled off in only 3 years.
Hopefully Durham comes through.
Well, if true he should just take his folks and go home then.
