Attorney General William Barr has told people close to him hes considering quitting over President Trump's tweets about Justice Department cases, an administration official says.
Maybe because the Constitution say so? Unless you can point out where the Constitution grants the AG with power over the President, I will go with Trump's assessment. The problem with the AG being omnipotent is they can protect their criminal compatriots with no way to stop them. The power to pardon offers no protection against the power to excuse from Justice. To think the President has no power to prosecute or recommend prosecution is absurd.
According to what a lot of posters have said he is not a lawyer.
Given the historical record that’s another big plus for Tom Finton. We have had two lawyers in succession and where has that gotten us?
Or maybe you were just wrong?
Scroll down and read what a Chief Justice of the Supreme Court wrote when he was AG about the Andrew Jackson Jewel Saga...
So yes I can point to something. SOmeone with more knowledge of the Constitution than you.
He has an opinion, does that confer power or is it still just an opinion?
Does the Constitution actually require that, or is it just accepted practice?
POTUS is not the Chief Law Enforcement Officer.
He can rant. He can rave. He can get mad. He can pitch a fit. He can make threats.
But the AG is the one who gives the order. THe Potus recourse is to fire the AG...That does not make him CHief Law Enforcement Officer.

And it's MY thought as well. As I mentioned at the time, "Would YOU trade McCabe for Brennan and Clapper?".
We have to win in November. Nothing else matters. All our issues will be set back decades if the Democrats win.
Stay focused.
By who? Corrupt judges? Stupid Libs?
You are right none of those things make him the Chief Law Enforcement Officer, the Constitution does and your opinion has no binding authority on the Presidential powers, so live with it.
Yes you can, but they have exactly the same authority you or I do, which is none.
