The media needs to keep that sweet bloomberg money rolling in and if he’s a lead balloon on Super Tuesday, its over for him. They can’t just all scream “Squirrel!!” and point at Trump the day after the debate... they have to ramp up. This is all part of that ramp.
Between now and March 3rd, nothingburger trump scandals are going to be supersized, to take any heat off mini-mike.

Exactly what Kelly, Mattis and the rest of them said. Only way Barr stays is if POTUS does not publicly engage the DOJ and allows Barr to slow walk any and all events into election season. He’s obviously got a plan to do that and POTUS is interrupting it.
The facts at hand are too embarrassing for Barr and he’s being humiliated when POTUS shine a bright lihgt on the Deep State coupists freely operating inside the “Barr” DOJ.
If I was a Dem Operative, I’d have A/P sources that leak to Drudge on speed dial.

If “those close to him” are reporting private conversations to the press, AG Barr is complaining about the wrong people. Or, he needs to quit and make room for someone with a little more intestinal fortitude.

Trump needs a real head-smasher to take over DOJ. Sessions nearly destroyed Trump’s Presidency, Barr stabilized the front against the constant attacks of the deep state.
Now Trump needs someone to dismantle and remake the DOJ
Has no plans to resign doesn’t dispute the rumor he told others he was thinking about resigning. They would have said he didn’t tell anyone he was thinking about resigning and has no plans to. He only said he didn’t have the plan.
