NASCAR named Trump the grand marshal of the Daytona500, marking the first time a sitting president has held the honor. Trump AND THe FIRST LADY is planning to take a lap around the track prior to the NASCAR event in the presidential limousine known as The Beast
The U.S. Secret Service will have more than 500 agents on site at the Daytona500 according to people briefed on the security plan, one of the largest presences by the Secret Service in all of American history.

Mrs p6 just started a roast in the oven, I grabbed a half gallon of ice cream and settled in by the electric fireplace for the duration.

smvoice NASCAR runs slick tires with little tread. When water hits, the cars slide with no traction.
Rules for rain? They don’t run unless the track’s REALLY dry. No grooves in the tires.
I've seen open wheel cars run in the rain with "rain tires"....they also don't crash into each other a lot.
There are no women in the race, it was appropriate.
Supposed to say “Drivers”. Not “Gentlemen “.
Good thing I only wanted to see Trump!
But I woulda stayed for the race....
