NASCAR named Trump the grand marshal of the Daytona500, marking the first time a sitting president has held the honor. Trump AND THe FIRST LADY is planning to take a lap around the track prior to the NASCAR event in the presidential limousine known as The Beast
The U.S. Secret Service will have more than 500 agents on site at the Daytona500 according to people briefed on the security plan, one of the largest presences by the Secret Service in all of American history.

NASCAR runs slick tires with little tread. When water hits, the cars slide with no traction.
Rules for rain? They don’t run unless the track’s REALLY dry. No grooves in the tires.
They are down for a while. Cars pulled into the pit. At least 10 minutes.

I saw Dale Sr. Win in ‘98 at Daytona from the top row of Fireball Tower at pit exit.
NASCAR got woke and is going broke.
Charlotte motor speedway used to have seating for 265,000 race fans.
Seating went from the middle of trun 3-4, around the trioval stand and ended after turn 2 with the incredible Diamond tower.
They took Diamond and Blue seating down...no athe place hold 165,000 and they still don’t sell out.
Haven’t reall.y watched since 24 retired.
