The Justice Department said Friday it will not pursue criminal charges against former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, after a nearly two-year-long investigation into accusations brought by the agency's independent watchdog who found that he lacked "candor" when questioned about leaking to the media.
In a letter to McCabe attorney Michael Bromwich obtained by Fox News, Justice Department attorney J.P. Cooney said the investigation is now “closed.”

Bummer-but since this is on only the lukewarm OIG report, I’m not going to get my thong in a twist over it-there is the pending FISA abuse report as well as other stuff still unpublished-one of my part-time co-workers is a full-time LEO-when we were on lunch break, he pointed out that a reduction/reprieve of jail time will almost always make a perp drop the dime on those who engineered the crime(s)...

If any of us told the FBI that we had an English muffin for breakfast when in fact we had wheat toast we’d go to prison for lying to them.
That this bastard should not get the same treatment he gave to others speaks to the fact that the FBI simply cannot be trusted anymore. It’s time to put an end to it!!!

I would prefer a recused AG to one like this.
So if you lie, but there’s nothing else, you get prosecuted. If you lie, but there is something else, you get let off on the lighter charge (the lie), because they are going to really nail you down the road or you’re ratting everyone out. That’s where we are at. Tough to know who the good guys and the bad guys are anymore. I’ll keep the faith. That’s all I have left.

Exactly who in the DOJ decided to not charge McCabe? Who approved that decision? Was the AG involved in that decision? The Two-tiered justice system will be shut down by those in charge or will be shut down by the people.
Still unknown, but we’ll eventually find out *who* it was.
