Andrew Napolitano believes President Donald Trump’s former adviser, Roger Stone, should get a new trial.
The Fox News senior judicial analyst has known Stone for over four decades but said that has no bearing on the fact that the long-time Trump ally is “absolutely entitled” to a new trial in light of an “inherent bias” from a jury member.
“He is absolutely entitled to a new trial with a member of the jury making these types of revelations about the politics involved in the decisions to prosecute him,” Napolitano told “Fox & Friends” Thursday.
“I presided over 150 jury trials and most were criminal,” the former New Jersey Superior Court judge said.
“It is the duty of the judge to ensure that both the government and the defendant get a fair trial and if the judge discovers afterwards that there was a built-in inherent bias on the part of a member of a jury against the defendant, that is an automatic trigger for a new trial,” Napolitano explained.
Social media posts resurfaced from the left-wing, anti-Trump activist who was the foreperson of the jury that convicted Stone last year. Former Memphis City Schools Board President Tomeka Hart posted about Stone’s case before she had even voted to convict him on obstruction charges.

I’m a bit poor right now but I would donate to the cause.
It should, that is, if you were a judge worth your salt and care about the integrity of your court room and care about people making a mockery of it. I dont see any integrity in this judge. (Much like the FISA judges, who seem not to care that people lie and falsify documents in their presence.)
He most likely will get a new trial, on appeal.
And a new judge...................
I am not fond of the guy but the charges should be dismissed and he should be reimbursed all costs to date. If the government want to then recharge him, let them do so. Either way, Stone needs his life back, his money back, and, if possible, his home. He was destroyed by all of this and did not deserve that.

Judge Napi is rather biased against Trump - but even he sees the injustice in the trial. Frankly, the judge in this case needs to be questioned about this matter.
Either the juror lied to the Court regarding her prior activities and political bias, or she was honest about it (doubtful) and was STILL allowed to serve on the jury. Either way, this should be a mistrial.
Even Napolitano who hates Trump sees that this is total BS
She is also a failed Democrat Congressional candidate.

Hart had no qualms about her bias.....she posted about Stone’s case before she had even voted to convict him on obstruction charges.
In the voir dire to select an unbiased jury, Tomeka Hart apparently lied to the court to ensure her selection.
We demand she be prosecuted for lying and misrepresenting herself.

In addition, the fact that the Fibbies raided his home at 0’Dark:30 with a SWAT team equipped with full autos and body armor, all to arrest a 67-year-old guy in his skivvies who had a deaf wife, is the height of injustice. What, they couldn’t have this guy, with ZERO violence in his past, turn himself in at a particular time and place? Does ANYONE seriously believe that he wouldn’t have complied? The fact that they brought along the media (CNN, I believe), means that it was done ON PURPOSE, with the specific intent of not merely traumatizing him, but embarrassing him and the President.
There is SO much wrong with this that Stone deserves to have the charges dropped, all of his expenses and lost compensation reimbursed, and a formal apology from the DoJ. People need to be fired for what was done to him - because if someone like him, with his connections, can be abused like this, then so can any of us - and on total BS charges.
So he is capable of pulling his head out once in a great while.
A new trial WITH a change of venue. It’s supposed to be a trial with a jury of your peers, not Democrat supporters.
Stone and Flynn should ALSO be made financially whole, this is really sick that the Deep State can BUST anyone they please.
