Warren, the senator from Massachusetts running for the Democratic presidential nomination, retold the story in an interview on MSNBC Tuesday night after a disappointing performance in the New Hampshire primary where she wasn't awarded a single delegate.
She said that a "broke college student with a lot of student loan debt" approached her in the "selfie line" at the end of her primary event. The senator said that the young woman told her, "I checked, and I have $6 in the bank so I just gave $3 to keep you in this fight.

It sounds like the girl had $6 in a bank account. If it had been in cash, it might have been two $3 bills. In that case it would be appropriate to give Fauxcahontas a $3 bill.
