Trump taunts Roger Stone prosecutors who 'cut and ran' from case

President Trump sounded off on Twitter on the four Justice Department (DOJ) attorneys who quit the Roger Stone case on Tuesday and accused them of cutting and running for political reasons.

Trump asked if the lawyers were loyal to former special counsel Robert Mueller and said Stone's case was the offshoot of an illegal investigation.

"Who are the four prosecutors (Mueller people?) who cut and ran after being exposed for recommending a ridiculous 9 year prison sentence to a man that got caught up in an investigation that was illegal, the Mueller Scam, and shouldn’t ever even have started? 13 Angry Democrats?" Trump tweeted.

So do something about it. Full pardon. The mueller case was that Stone was the go between and coordinated getting emails, stolen by Russia, to wikileaks. Not a word of that is true. Assange got them from Seth Rich, who was murdered, and Russia wasn’t involved.

Stone WAS in contact with Wikileaks hoping to be the first to know when another vault was going to be released, and encouraging it to be before the election. But that is completely 100% legal.
Then a liar claimed Stone said he would kidnap his dog if he testified.

This is a retarded case and Trump needs to end this travesty. Strike while the iron is hot. They hate you already, the Vindman twins are fired, Soneland is fired, that nomination was rescinded. The NSA is getting fored wholesale. The best time to throw a punch is a half second after the last one.

The President cannot order Barr and Durham to do their jobs. The political and legal blow-back would be epic if he did that.

The President can call them out - which is what he did. Apparently, someone in DOJ either fired someone because they got caught overreaching, or they just decided to cowardly hide and leave.

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich said that 96% of the political donations of DOJ employees went to Hillary in 2016. The entire institution is crawling with globalists and Clinton/Obama appointees and loyalists.

During the impeachment fiasco, political commentators and journalists kept asking why Rudy Giuliani, who is not an official member of the Dept of Injustice, would be handling Ukraine investigation to the degree that he is. The real reason is that so few within the DOJ can be trusted. Rudy Giuliani is a former federal prosecutor who took down the heads of the mafia five families. He knows what he is doing.

I've always been confused by the people who "have political capital" but who do not spend their political capital. You see, they need to pick their battles. They need to hoard that political capital. It would be foolish to spend it and lose it.

I see President Trump wisely using his political capital at just the right time and in just the right way so that he ends up with more capital than he had before, after he spends it. He is a master strategist.
