Bernie Sanders

Fortunately for the political process, there remain a number of committed individuals who are steadfast enough in their beliefs to run for office to benefit their fellow Americans. Such people are willing to eschew political and personal comfort and convenience because they believe they can make a difference. One outstanding and inspiring example of such integrity is the countrys only Independent Congressman, Vermonts Bernie Sanders.
Sanders courage is evident in the first word he uses to describe himself: Socialist. In a country where Communism is still the dirtiest of ideological dirty words, in a climate where even liberalism is considered radical, and Socialism is immediately and perhaps willfully confused with Communism, a politician dares to call himself a socialist? He does indeed. Here is someone who has looked into his own soul and expressed an ideology, the endorsement of which, in todays political atmosphere, is analogous to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Even though he has lived through a time in which an admitted socialist could not act in a film, let alone hold a Congressional seat, Sanders is not afraid to be candid about his political persuasion.

Apparently, this is real.
Buttigieg was for Sanders before he was against him.
Gay.
A time in which an admitted socialist could not act in a film. What? When was Hollywood NOT socialist or Communist? This kid was raised, ironically by affluent Communist Academics! He was nursed on the milk of Marxian theory and taught that Gramsci was god. He needs to go back home and get a good psychiatrist to help him escape from the madness of perversion. Poor kid.
Now a Conservative cannot get a job in Hollywierd or academia. Bet Bernie or Saint Peter have no problem with that discrimination.
This should be fun.
He looks like Norman Bates back in the day.
2000 Buttigeg would love Donald Trump.
He looks like a fag, Jim.
No pun intended?
That was a scholarly piece, I mean to tell you. Bernie Sanders must have made a HUGE impression on the young Peter Buttigieg, as that was a political love letter if ever there was.
Gushing is perhaps Mayor Pete’s most distinguishing trait, as he pulls no punches in hailing the virtues of those he admires most. And in 2000, the young Peter Buttigieg saw no wrong in the world view of Bernie Sanders.
But of course, Mayor Pete is much evolved from that young and idealistic child.
That happens when the goal posts are in continual movement.
Title:
2000 Winning Essay by Peter Buttigieg
Make America South Bend. peter buttieg 2020!
Why? Just because.
I’m always amazed at how no one ever asks the question why two people - Mayor Pete and Tulsi Gabbard - who are so obviously radically Left wing and ideologically opposed to the United States would join the U.S. Military?
They joined SOLELY to aid their later political careers. Yes, they had the intelligence to see down the road to know a military career - especially a tour in a combat zone - would aid them. But they did not care about defending the United States, did not care about the mission. They only cared about being able to tick a box, fill-in-an-oval for later advantage. Like a sleeper cell, they plan ahead for decades. Like Manchurian candidates they pretend to be typical Americans until it suits them to be otherwise.
Petey Boy is a white Barry Soetoro Obama, just more honest about his sexuality, though like Barry now trying to cover his Marxist leanings.
Young Peter nominated Bernie Sanders and won first prize the first year they held the contest.
I'm assuming he didn't title his essay "2000 Winning Essay," but he was a cocky kid, so who knows? I guess I could have left his high school out of the title, though.
You can see by the essay that some of Joe Buttigieg's Marxism may have rubbed off on young Pete. The pomegranate doesn't fall far from the tree.
Anyway, it's rare in politics that candidates run against somebody who might have been their childhood idol.
“I’m assuming he didn’t title his essay “2000 Winning Essay,” “
That was the title of the linked article. Two threads are open with this source. Per guidelines, actual title should be used to enable efficient searches.
Pete probably joined because it would advance his political career, but Tulsi's reasons may have been a little different.
Buttigieg's father was some kind of Marxist, while Gabbard's dad was a rather conservative guy, at least until he realized he couldn't get elected in Hawaii as a Republican, so Tulsi's motives may not have been as opportunistic as Pete's.
