There are currently 40,221 confirmed cases worldwide, including 904fatalities.
Look at the new numbers today.
Looks like Japan isn’t controlling the spread very well.
WHO is working overtime to save face for China and yet they make a highly significant ( dishonest and frightfully misleading) change to their definition of who has the virus without notifying them?

I like that one.
Pic of how this can spread via apartment potty.

Apparently the HK apartment building leak of #coronovavirus was due to the air exhaust system pulling the leaky fecal air by a fan into rest of the building. (Literally sh*t 💩 hit the fan it seems, according to accounts) https://t.co/hnMYF5xCT8 pic.twitter.com/rDE7uz0AWE— Eric Feigl-Ding (@DrEricDing) February 10, 2020

Coronavirus: UAE confirms eighth case is Indian citizen
Health officials said six patients remain stable and one was in intensive care as of Monday

Feb 10, 2020
The UAE has confirmed a new case of coronavirus bringing the total to eight as of Monday night.
The health ministry said the patient is an Indian citizen who became ill after “interacting with a recently diagnosed person”.
Officials also said one of the patients was in intensive care as of Monday, with six in a stable condition and one discharged from hospital on Sunday.
No further details about the latest patient were provided. At least five of the six Chinese citizens had a link to Wuhan, the centre of the outbreak...
I wonder if all this case changing, higher CFR and critical case percentage numbers being put out by China and WHO is because an international team of healthcare providers and experts are headed there now and they know they cant hide the numbers much longer.
Yep...even on the ship :(
Or it simply isn't containable. *IF* this monster is man made it would explain a lot. Someone may have released a freight train onto the world. Accidental or not.:(

LOL!
I have 8 dogs, 2 cats, 3 bearded dragons and 3 birds. The dog population will reduce by attrition. At nearly age 64, I shouldn’t be replacing pets as they pass. Dog #9 went to the rainbow bridge on Christmas Eve after an extended case of lymphoma. Prednisone gave her an extra year. In mid-December she balked at taking her meds and was clearly ready to hang up her spurs.

Seems legit.
US/China Lawyer Malcolm McNeil (interviewed on FoxBiz, moments ago) saying chances of businesses re-opening, any time soon, is completely up in the air.
Asked why Tesla, and other cos are re-opening....
He said it’s probably some attempt at creating vision of stability....
Liz C then says...GM is getting ready to re-open, in China....what advice would you give to GM, over this?
McNeil: I would tell them that they better reconsider their liability, over this....
He also mentioned that he knows of one pharmaceutical company that has advised its employees not to deliver any goods/services or travel to anywhere in Asian region...so, it’s not just a China related problem...the message is...we don’t want this virus to spread to anyone in our company...and, it should be a message to other businesses.
He’s scheduled to go back to HK in March...for a trade show....he’s thinking it will likely be cancelled, since so many of the airlines have already cancelled flights, until/beyond that time.

COMMUTERS WARNING
Coronavirus can live on door handles and bus or train poles for up to nine days more than four times longer than flu, according to new research.
It’s much hardier than common bugs shedding fresh light on its rapid spread, say German scientists.Surfaces that are frequently touched are most likely to be harbouring the highly contagious disease especially in hospitals or crowded Tube stations.
But the potentially deadly droplets can be destroyed within a minute simply through regular wiping with disinfectants such as Domestos (a bleach spray).
Corresponding author Professor Gunter Kampf said: In hospitals these can be door handles, for example, but also call buttons, bedside tables, bed frames and other objects in the direct vicinity of patients, which are often made of metal or plastic.
