On Saturday, six Trump campaign volunteers in Jacksonville, Florida were working to register voters. At approximately 2:45 p.m., a golden-colored van attempted intentionally ran through their booths with the intention of mauling volunteers. Thankfully, no one was injured.
After driving through the tent, knocking over tables and chairs, the man stopped, took a video and flipped the Republican volunteers off. The driver sped off but was later apprehended.
Police arrested 27-year-old Gregory William Loel Timm. He was "charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a person over 65 years old, criminal mischief and driving without a license," News Jax 4 reported.
Lt. Larry Gayle told News Jax 4 that police are monitoring social media to see if Timm's video will pop up.
We dont know if this is politically motivated, Gayle said. Weve got detectives coming out. Were following up on information and trying to determine if we can identify this person right now.

Multiple people condemned the attack as politically motivated, including Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, President Donald Trump, Florida Sens. Marco Rubio and Rick Scott and Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry.
These unprovoked, senseless attacks on @realDonaldTrump's supporters need to end. I want to echo the @DuvalGOP in saying: We will not be silenced by cowards, and these disgusting acts will only make us work harder to win November. https://t.co/GQ7OrbtSO2 Ronna McDaniel (@GOPChairwoman) February 9, 2020
Law Enforcement has been notified. Be careful tough guys who you play with! https://t.co/1Pq0hOrzy2 Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 9, 2020
Thanking God that no one was injured in todays politically motivated attack against @DuvalGOP volunteers today. https://t.co/qKaJ8takNB Marco Rubio (@marcorubio) February 8, 2020
This appears to be a politically-motivated attack on hard-working volunteers in Duval County. Thankful that no one was hurt. @DuvalGOP will not be silenced or intimidated. They will redouble their efforts to support strong Republicans in NE Florida and around the state! https://t.co/F4Qi7hk7CR Rick Scott (@ScottforFlorida) February 8, 2020
Sadly, this happened. I spoke to the GOP chair. This is outrageous. The hate is toxic and dangerous. Thankfully no one was injured but certainly they are shaken after being targeted because they were registering voters. Ive spoken to the Sheriff & of course his team is on this https://t.co/dRENZi0Bxq Lenny Curry (@lennycurry) February 8, 2020
Article says he’s 27. I don’t think that’s Gen X. I’m pretty sure he’s a millennial.
Be careful out there. The Lib Brown Shirts will be out in force.
“We dont know if this is politically motivated, Gayle said.”
Just exactly how did you manage to achieve the rank of Lieutenant, Columbo?
This is what happens when a society turns to communism. They try to silence the opposition by whatever means necessary. This is also playing out in drive to normalize homosexuality, though it will never be recognized as “normal” in a moral society.
The look on the face is that of a school shooter, appearing to be under the influence of drugs, mind control, quite possibly both. Adam Lanza comes to mind.
If this terrorist act had occurred in Portland, the Portland officials there would possibly have helped the terrorist to ram the voter registration tent again.
If it had been dems registering people to vote, there would have been no doubt.
What happened at his 1:00 PM appearance?
The media will say that the poor guy was driving through the parking lot and a bunch of Repubs put up a tent and tables to block his van.
“not that I condone such”
I do.
It's difficult to keep track of generational terms. Let's discuss:
1. Greatest generation is WAR II.
2. Boomers are mostly from the children of Greatest Generation.
3. I'm a Boomer and both my children are in their early to mid forties. What are they?
4. Millenials are of the 90's?
5. Gen-X are mostly of the 2000's to current?
6. There is now a Gen-Y that includes the 20's, which are now my grandchildren.
If you have a definitive explanation for the generation nick-names, please inform me. They tend to overlap.

I was always under the impression that Boomers were from 1946-1964, and that Gen-X was from 1965-1981. Millennials are after that. Being that the perp is 27, assuming he hasn’t had his birthday yet, that would make him born in 1992. I’m pretty sure he’s a millennial. Millennials are from 1982-1996.
Regarding point 3, your children are Gen-X. Regarding point 5, the generation after millennials should be Generation-Z. And regarding point 6 Gen-Y and Millennials are the same thing.
