'Christian socialism' is tyranny

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

President Donald Trump, at his State of the Union, to his special guest, Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido, said, “Mr. President, please take this message back to your homeland” — “Americans are united with the Venezuelan people” and know full well, “socialism destroys nations.”

Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro didn’t like that, and responded, in part, by boasting, “We have the right to build socialism and we will build — a new democratic, humanist, Christian socialism of the 21st century,” as Breitbart reported.

Christian socialism?

Make way for the lie.

Christianity and socialism cannot coexist and bring freedom to the individual. Moreover, it’s not even based on Bible truths.

Jesus, the central figure of Christianity, never, ever, not once, not even a little bit taught that the way to best serve and show love was to first, empower government to take over the means of private production; second, demand government redistribute the fruits of labor to those deemed in greatest need; and third, to cede all semblance of individualism — talents, desires, efforts, creations — to the greater good, to the collective, for government to take and use as willed.

Jesus placed the burden of living out the faith on the shoulders of the individuals.

He wanted a personal relationship with believers — not a collective, cooperative sharing of ideas and efforts with believers and their Big Government bureaucrats.

He wanted his followers to feed the poor out of love for Him and for the Golden Rule — to do unto others as one would have done to self — and not for his followers to simply stand back and cry for the government to feed the poor.

With that: How can Christianity and socialism truly co-exist without compromise? Either the adherence to the first will lead to irrelevance...

“We have the right to build socialism and we will build — a new democratic, humanist, Christian socialism of the 21st century.” …
“Christian socialism” is an oxymoron, since socialism is based on atheism, as is so-called humanism.

Mammonism and Bolshevism are both un-Christian.

many people claim Jesus and God were socialists because the bible instructed Jews during a very specific solely Jewish time period, to sell everything they had to support the spread of the New Gospel message-

This command was a one time command- not an eternal command, and was not meant to redistribute wealth, but to further the ‘radical new gospel message’ which was difficult to spread as many were still steeped in Jewish law and couldn’t comprehend or accept that a Savior had been born

“Christian socialism” is an oxymoron. You cannot simultaneously believe in the redemption provided through Christ and the “equal” definition of socialism. Men, though born equal before the eyes of God, differentiate quickly when they come in contact with the very imperfect world in which we spend our existence. Different talents are remunerated at different rates on the mundane globe where all of us spend our lives, until we ascend to that higher plane.

Socialism, whether it be international, national, democratic, or tied in some way to a religion, is at its heart a command-and-control form of hierarchy, and while some of the distinctions are obliterated at lower levels of the hierarchy, there is ALWAYS a top faction, and almost always, they are organized as a paramilitary organization, issuing draconian and authoritarian demands upon the otherwise largely undifferentiated masses. Individual talent goes mostly unrecognized, except in the top echelon, where the pecking order is determined by sometimes single combat between two, the victor taking all the spoils, and the vanquished banished or becomes subject to extreme prejudice.

Virtue is not a hallmark of this sort of social organization.

Ought not that box of expensive perfume had been sold and the money given to the poor...?” sniffed Judas in a high-minded sort of “I know better than you tone of voice”. And Jesus, sadly, knowing the future of Judas and of his betrayal replied...”Leave her alone, she is preparing me for my burial.”

Thus we encounter the mockery of so-called Christian Socialism as it is often advocated by the corrupt at heart and an eye opening exposure of the evil it is truly rooted in.

The Pilgrims tried a type of Christian Socialism, calling themselves in their compact a self describe “common-wealth”. It lead to widespread hunger and a near destruction of the colony until the governor declared that private ownership of farm and produce would be allowed with all able bodied person ordered to work for their food or not be allowed to eat. Tithes were then to be made of food left over to be put into the common storehouse for use by the widows, orphans and otherwise disabled. The next year, the fortunes of the colony were drastically turned around and the common house( a sort of “early community “food pantry or “bank” if you will) was more than full and a celebration of thanks was made to all mighty God.

So we already know from our own history that Christian Socialism doesn’t work, especially around the plans God would have for our nation as we began to progress!

Christian values are wrong.
How dare we tell people to love one another, to turn the other cheek and forgive trespasses? To pray for those who declare themselves who declare themselves to be the enemy. To hold virtue, integrity, honor, honest work, charity and compassion as worthy values. To persuade others to consider Christianity because of the examples we set

Yet, Sharia is supposed to be something good

Judge the tree by the fruit it bears. Look at the rampant charity, technology, medical advances, standard of living, safety, and prosperity over much of the Christian world

Now compare and contrast against Islam

Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.
Luk 12:34  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Eyes go to sell and give to the needy. there is MUCH more to it...................................

We are commanded to get enrich ourselves and seek treasure.

So you provide money for yourselves to care for yourselves and your family lest as the Bible states, “ye be worse than infidels if you care not for your own” and you give tithes and alms to the needy of what you have. There is a balance that God wishes to teach us. Even Paul, no rich man still worked for his own sustenance especially in situations where to rely on a fledgling church for offerings would have put undue burdens on them. he was the one who commanded the lazy of the churches, ‘he who doesn’t work doesn’t eat.

Meanwhile, we know for a fact that there were many solid, faithful believers in the first-century who did not sell all their possessions when they became followers of Jesus. Joseph of Arimathea, for instance, was apparently a man of great substance (Matthew 27:57), and Paul and James seem to take it for granted that there is room for both rich and poor in the church of Jesus Christ (see I Timothy 6:17-19; James 1:11).

This was done by Jews, and by Jews only; who, when they embraced the Gospel of Christ, were informed that the destruction of their city, and nation, was at hand; and therefore they sold their estates before hand, and put them to this use; which was necessary to be done, both for the support of the Gospel in Judea, and for the carrying and spreading of it among the Gentiles: but is not to be drawn into a precedent, or an example in after times; nor is ever any such thing proposed to the Christian churches, or exhorted to by any of the apostles.

[[Thus we encounter the mockery of so-called Christian Socialism]]

They love guilt tripping Christians- they do it in an effort to cover up their own poverty of character- Hypocrites love putting undue burdens on others because they know the persons can’t fulfill those burdens, so these hypocrites can then mock them and feel better about themselves- They also love pointing an accusing finger at Christians who are richer than they are-

Abraham was a very very wealthy man- Lot was also very wealthy- and of course David and Solomon were extremely rich and never commanded to give everything they had and walk around in poverty themselves- as were a number of people in the bible both old and new testament, and Jesus never rebuked any of them for being rich

many people claim Jesus and God were socialists because the bible instructed Jews during a very specific solely Jewish time period, to sell everything they had to support the spread of the New Gospel message-

Actually it was one person.

The apostles kept their houses and boats. How do I know?

Because Jesus visited their homes and both before and after his death on the cross they went fishing.

The Rich Young Ruler was told to do what he was because that was the most important thing in the world to him. He did not own things, things owned him. Jesus was trying to save him because He loved him.

In Acts some sold what they had and gave it to the Church however some did not. You might remember the rebuke Peter gave to Ananias and Sapphira. He told them the problem was not the fact they kept part of the money, that giving all was not required but lying to make themselves look more pious before the group, that was the sin.
