Police: 2nd officer shot in Bronx hours after ambush

NEW YORK -- A second New York City police officer was shot early Sunday in the Bronx, hours after a gunman shot and wounded an officer in an unprovoked attack on a patrol van, according to police officials.

The officer was shot Sunday morning at the headquarters of the 41st police precinct, according to NYPD spokesperson Hubert Reyes. He said the injured officer is in stable condition at Lincoln Hospital.

Police officials confirmed a suspect in Sunday’s shooting is in custody.

Two security camera videos, posted on social media, captured the shooting. In one of them, a man is seen sauntering into the precinct house lobby, before briefly disappearing off screen. Then, he rushes into a side room with his arm extended, as if pointing a gun, as two people inside run away. He turns and is headed back into the lobby when he looks behind him and falls suddenly, face first on the ground.

It is unclear if the shooting at the precinct is related to Saturday evening’s ambush on a patrol van in the same area.

Until the Rule of Law is established with consequences for uncivil behavior, I expect more of this lawlessness.

The realk enemies of the Police and The People sit in the State House in Albany, and in the Mayor’s office ion New York City.

Perhaps these lame left politicians need to be made to put on blue uniforms and walk unarmed through the Bronx. Those who survive can then change the bail laws and the Green Light Drivers License law so that Latino GANGS and their illegal alien criminals can be canned and deported /imprisoned.
END SANCTUARY NOW!

I didn’t vote for Obama. He was way too liberal for me. But I did see a ray of hope when he was first elected back in 2008. The guy was uniquely qualified to bring the races together.

But Obama actively made things worse. That is the real tragedy of his presidency.

“I didn’t vote for Obama. He was way too liberal for me. But I did see a ray of hope when he was first elected back in 2008. The guy was uniquely qualified to bring the races together.”

No he wasnt.

I am reminded of the election of david dinkins for mayor of new york city back in 1989. At the end of the ed koch administration, race relations had sunk to a new low. So the voters thought if they elected a black guy for mayor, the citys first black mayor, race relations would improve greatly. Instead, race relations sunk even worse under him as he allowed the racial arsonists to rule the streets. Al sharpton became used to walking into the mayors office without so much as an appointment as if he owned the place, which he practically did.

After only one term, the voters kicked dinkins out and replaced him with ridy guiliani. And race relations improved some.

So when obama was elected, i just knew that race relations was going to sink.

“The guy was uniquely qualified to bring the races together.”

Not one thing he ever said in his campaign or in his holding of office made any claim to that. He was a devout race-baiter.

What’s the betting line that the perp is and released no bail criminal? I’m 5 to 3 he is. If he is Decommio’s ass is grass and the NYPD is the lawnmower.
