A member of the Thai security forces was killed in a raid into a shopping mall to try to stop a soldier who went a shooting rampage, bringing the total death toll to 21, the health minister said Saturday night, according to Reuters.
The killings began when the soldier opened fire in a house before moving to an army camp and then to the mall in Nakhon Ratchasima in northeastern Thailand. Gunfire later broke out at the mall as security forces tried to dislodge...

Anything can be a weapon, if you use your ingenuity and imagination. Guns are just the easiest to use without using your imagination. But they have two serious drawbacks: 1. You have to aim and fire directly in line with the barrel; and 2. They run out of bullets at some point. That can be the undoing of any mass shooter. But having a gun to shoot back with is a good thing.
