If, next January, Donald Trump takes the presidential oath for a second time [snip] his road to reelection will have started in these busy, perhaps fateful, few days of early February, when Trumps audacious flair for self-promotion converged with the bumbling of Democrats to produce an explosive campaign launch. [snip]
His State of the Union speech was a lethally effective exploitation of the presidential bully pulpit. Did he overstate his accomplishments? Yes. Did he understate the record of his predecessor? Yes. Is that unusual in a campaign-year State of the Union? No.
But no previous address so cunningly adapted the ancient ritual of a formal speech to the visceral medium of television. A former TV star himself, Trump understands that people dont just listen to what the president says. They also watch the reactions of the people in the room. He engineered the speech to force his opponents to react in potentially self-defeating ways....
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Even Trump's opponents lack of self control is blamed on Trump.
Let's not forget the Democrats' failure to remove President Trump from office, just the day prior.
That demoralized a lot of Dems, even before the Iowa caucus disaster and Nancy's embarrassing stunt.
It was a no good, horrible week for them, that's for sure.
Wait....I thought he was a spoiled toddler and a moron. Must have all been by accident.
“bumbling of Democrats “
remember the hogwash from the fake stream media right before obama was elected the first time about how the Dems were masters of the universe who were light years ahead of the GOP in using digital media, social media, databases, etc., and how the GOP were hopelessly behind in using digital technology and would never, ever catch up in a million years?
“it will be up to that campaign to make the case against Trump”
“we hate Trump” isn’t enough to win the Presidency for the Dems, and even worse, they’re whole field is nothing but a gaggle of communists who have no plan or platform to successfully run our country, and if fact, their plan is to destroy it an that’s too obvious to most voters ...
and then you have President Trump with massive accomplishments including the lowest unemployment since WWII, rising wages, highest stock market in history, highest employment for blacks and hispanics in history and on and on and on ... oh and the failed impeachment, do-nothing Dems in the House, and the deliberate, obnoxious behavior of Pelosi ...
the Dems are going to be slaughtered in 2020, and they know it ...
Trumps greatest strength is probably his understanding of human nature and an ability to predict their reactions to words, events, circumstances, etc....
He is a rare genius probably most in tune with Thomas Jefferson. It is extremely difficult for the mud-slinging monkeys on the democrat side to compete with that. To our great relief!
It’s appalling, isn’t it? The trouble with dumb people is that they are too dumb to realize they are dumb. They cannot understand people smarter than themselves, so they denounce them as not making any sense. They waste everyone’s time and money and talk down to people who have already forgotten more than the dumb people will ever know.
