It’s an exclamation meaning “wow” or “Are you kidding?” Like if someone says “Hey did you hear Joe robbed a bank and got arrested?” you would say “word”? Or it can mean you emphasize something “AOC is stupid” and someone else says “word” to emphasize it.

Snoop made a video threatening Gayle because of this, very angry she is going after black men.

I think the majority of women, black, white or indifferent would prefer to see a woman become president. So, we’ll take all the black men votes we can get.
