Lee-Jackson Day is celebrated the Friday before MLK Day. The state, county, and municipal employees get a four day weekend. I bet they are not happy about losing a four day weekend.

Better idea: Remove Sheila Jackson Lee from congress
This is the first step towards the removal of the large equestrian statues in Richmond of Confederate generals. I can only hope if this comes to pass there will be some real mass civil disobedience over that. I know if I can get to Richmond in any way I will be there.
