The chairmen of two U.S. Senate committees are disputing claims made by an FBI official to the Department of Justice Office of Inspector General (OIG), saying the claims are contradicted by four classified footnotes in a recent OIG report that delved into FBIs surveillance of Trump 2016 presidential campaign aides.
The report, released Dec. 9, 2019, found 17 significant errors or omissions in a surveillance warrant and its three renewals the FBI took out on one of the aides, Carter Page, under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) in 2016 and 2017 (pdf).
The senators, Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) of the Senate Finance Committee and Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, asked Attorney General William Barr to declassify the footnotes, which have been mostly redacted in the public version of the OIG report.
The senators have access to the unredacted version.

WTF, this is in all plain sight too?
No longer available at source for some reason
James woods has come back to twitter. Going to be interesting to see what he says about it all
The story is still there but I dont understand the impact of it!
Did FBI or someone lie to Congress?
Scroll down, it is there.
Maybe some documents should be declassified.
Time to start officials of the FBI or give them a choice of a new job...
Dear Attorney General Barr:
The Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and the Committee on Finance are continuing oversight of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and its Crossfire Hurricane investigation. We have reviewed the findings of the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) with regard to the FBI's Crossfire Hurricane investigation,^ and we are deeply concerned about certain information that remains classified. Specifically, we are concerned that certain sections of the public version of the report are misleading because they are contradicted by relevant and probative classified information redacted in four footnotes. This classified information is significant not only because it contradicts key statements in a section of the report, but also because it provides insight essential for an accurate evaluation of the entire investigation. The American people have a right to know what is contained within these four footnotes and, without that knowledge, they will not have a full picture as to what happened during the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.
Consequently, we are writing to respectfully request that you, pursuant to the original classification authority delegated to you by the President over matters related to this investigation, fully declassify the four footnotes to ensure that this information is made available to the American people. Today, under separate cover, we are also sending you a classified letter that identifies these four footnotes and describes the importance of this information to a complete understanding of the OIG report and the underlying Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

So...arrest the IG and his staff. Interrogate these pathetic criminals.
havent read through him yet but first one i saw was a shot at AOC
Diogenes, “I quit!”.
The conclusions reached were at variance to the footnotes, in other words they lied and the references the footnotes point to show they “ignored” things to try and paint a more dire picture but could not and hid things like FISA abuse etc.
