The Obama administration was ill-prepared to handle and failed to respond effectively to Russian interference during the 2016 election, according to a bipartisan congressional report released Thursday. It noted officials feared getting caught up in a heavily politicized environment and undermining public confidence in the electoral process.
The Senate Intelligence Committee’s report said the U.S. government was “not well-postured” to counter Russian election interference, adding Russia’s cyberactivities did not cease despite high-level warnings of potential retaliation.
Sen. Richard Burr, who chairs the Senate Intelligence Committee, said the report found the Obama administration in 2016 struggled to determine an appropriate response as it became aware of Russian activities.
“Frozen by ‘paralysis of analysis,’ hamstrung by constraints both real and perceived, Obama officials debated courses of action without truly taking one,” said Burr, a North Carolina Republican, noting many of their concerns were valid. “However, Obama officials made decisions that limited their options, including preventing internal information-sharing and siloing cyber and geopolitical threats.”
The committee noted most Obama administration officials interviewed in the investigation said they had first learned about the Russian operation to steal emails from the Democratic National Committee from the media. The initial reaction of administration officials and members of the intelligence community was that Russia’s activity “fell within the bounds of traditional espionage” and was not understood at that point to be part of a broader campaign, according to the report.
Five GOP senators on the panel wrote in an addendum that the report “exposes in great detail the Obama administration’s inept response to Russia’s persistent and complex campaign to influence and interfere in the most recent U.S. presidential election.” They wrote that concerns about undermining confidence in the election “do not excuse the administration’s failures.”

Much of the $5.3B in US Aid Ukraine reported as misused was given to the embassy’s favored NGO’s.
At the time Yovanovitch, was the Amb. That embassy directed the police not to investigate.
A Do Not Prosecute list was circulated....a list Yovanovitch testified to Congress did not exist.
Could it be since Mueller showed there was no Russian collusion and President Trump was acquitted the focus comes back to 'What Happened in the 2016 Election?'
Could this be a preemptive strike against any findings by Barr and others?
Additionally, the Russians did not hack the DNC—Seth Rich gave the records over to WikiLeaks.
Hillary hired Steele to create fake news on Trump to Congress shop it and use it to justify wiretap/recording/monitoring of all of Donald Trump’s communications and of all people even remotely connected to his election run. They used it to also snoop on reporters.
All the corruption is on Hillary and her supporters and on Federal employees who leveraged what they knew were lies to “aid their common effort to elect Hillary” as our next President.

We “know” this and for a fact. The gun used to kill him was an FBI gun. Not even kidding. Look it up.
Interesting, isn’t it, that they rely on information from the “intelligence community” to conclude that the Russians attempted to affect our elections. Even though that same “intelligence community” was responsible for the misinformation used to generate the Mueller investigation and probes.
Yet, what is obvious as the day is long, it the sheer numbers of illegal votes being cast all over the country. I’m pretty sure that when you have 115% voter turnout, that would an indication of something not quite right.
It is way past time to clear all the voter rolls and implement voter identification and go back to in person paper ballot voting.
And don’t let Democrats have anything to do with vote tabulation - ever.
Let’s not forget the whole “Russia” thing was created to delegitimize the election of Donald Trump and to legitimize the argument that the Hillary had the election stolen from her. The only “evidence” was made up.
We are going hear this narrative in spades come November if and when the Democrats start losing across the nation.
And a leaked Podesta email said we have to find out who and punish them severely. Three days later Seth was dead.

Are you seeing this? OANN has a breaking story. Remember a few days ago Judicial Watch got more of the Strzok/Page texts that had been held back. It seems there was something in there about Seth Rich and the story at OANN is that the FBI has been covering up facts in Seth’s murder. Could be Hugh and Series at once.
