Three federal judges heard arguments in Pasadena Wednesday about whether major oil and gas companies are financially responsible for the damages caused by climate change.

San Francisco, Oakland, and a coalition of about a dozen other cities and counties want to hold the fossil fuel industry responsible for the remediation costs and property damage from increasingly severe wildfires, rising sea levels and intense storms that batter coastal communities.

I am in agreement with this lawsuit and believe to protect the citizens of San Francisco that all fossil fuel originated energy must be cutoff immediately from entering the city. This means no electricity, no natural gas, no gasoline and such. We must act to protect those poor San Franciscans.

Don’t they have to, above all, prove “climate change” even exists?

Is Chesea Boudin, the new radical DA for SF, part of, or pushing this legal travesty?

Our climates are controlled by the sun’s activities. Man does not control the climates on Earth. The sun controls any changes in our climates. Our politicians know this scientific fact. Our politicians have no problem telling lies for money.

I would shut down those companies and let San Franciscans stew without power.

These lawsuits are nothing more than a way for governments to tax the citizenry or remove profits from companies.

Here’s an idea. Stop selling fossil fuels and power generated by it to California.

Anybody suing officials for the much more easy to prove charge of providing aid and refuge to criminals who then rob rape and murder Americans?

Yeah I am with you on that, let them descend back into time before energy was harnessed. Will they revert back to using whale oil? 8>)

If the CA legislature really believes any of this climate change pseudo-science, easy - just ban the consumption of any fossil fuels.

Now.

No waiting.

Yep, just like they raped the tobacco industry years ago by saying the tobacco industry lied about the effects of cigarettes, as if no one knew that smoking was bad for your health. During the discovery and trial they claimed they needed the money to pay for the health care of smokers. Then they put the settlement into the general fund and paid for everything but the smokers’ healthcare.

They are coming after the smokeless tobacco companies now.

No money in that. And they would quickly find themselves hanging from lamp posts.

Why sue for oil and gas companies are financially responsible for the damages caused by climate change when they should sue the consumer for causing climate change because they cause the companies to produce the product.

OH WAIT IT’S CALIFORNIA
