PING. Doc who tried to warn everyone dies in Commie isolation.
In this country he’d be a hero. Maybe even put in charge of the effort to combat the disease.
In CCP/PLAlandia however...
Wow. How ironic and sad.
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
If a quarantine saves just one child's life, it's worth it.
Very very sad. I hope he gets a special placement in the annals of this whole story.
Brave man. I hope he got the best medical care—but I wonder, since he was on the Party’s s-list before for “spreading disinformation” before they realized he was right about the risk of the new virus.
The provincial authorities should have listened to this man.
FAKE NEWS - Jan 3 (when he tweeted) was nearly 2 weeks before Coronavirus was detected in China. How do I know that? China didn’t report it prior. It’s time we stop believing the scaremongers and trust the Chinese.
(my point being that they covered it up, since at least Dec. 8, per some of the history I’ve read - so why believe a damn thing they’re saying now. Instead, watch other countries, and that cruise ship off Tokyo where 20 of 71 people tested now have the virus)
Did he die from flu or die from lead poisoning ?
Global Times is the main ChiCom English news agency. It reports what ChiComs want reported.
Bkmk
It appears he knew of the problems and thought it was SARS for the first week or two.
The guy is/was legit.
You are grossly wrong to trust the Chinese.
A disturbing tidbit about the doc is that he tested negative several times after he felt sick. He just received a positive result in the last week or so, which begs the question- how common is this? I know the CDC director mentioned this a couple of weeks ago, but I wonder how widespread it is.
Hi impact lead poisoning.
“The guy is/was legit.”
Of course - too bad the Chicoms didn’t listen to him. My point was that a lot of us, including people here, are putting the government numbers from China into spreadsheets and trying to predict the virus, when there is absolutely NO REASON to trust China on his.
Must have received the Chou En Lai treatment.
