Spartacus was one of his best as far as I am concerned. He had a stroke years ago and had to learn to talk again. Even survived a helicopter crash. I also liked him in Paths of Glory. The movie actually got banned in France.

Its hard to find, but he did a followup in Tales from the Crypt as a WW1 General who has to sentice his son for treason, played by his real son Eric. Quite good performance. RIP Sparticus!

It’s pretty impressive that he lived to be 103. Almost as impressive as Keith Richards still being alive.

Maybe you’ve heard of “Search” - which is why everyone else has known about this from the previous threads on the same topic. Threads that came from actual sources.

He’s not quite the last. Olivia de Havilland is still with us.

WOW! Kirk Douglas was still alive. Amazing 103 that is an achievement or one lucky SOB.

Watched the Simpsons the other day the one where Kirk Douglas is a ‘bum’ who clains he invented itchy and scratchy. So I looked him up on Wikipedia to see When he died. I was surprised to see he was alive and 103. Wow!

Then this morning I found out he had past. RIP Kirk Douglas

I liked “Lonely Are The Brave” from 1962. However the ending of the movie was a complete bummer. RIP Mr. Douglas and thanks for the many movies!
