After President Trump left the House floor last night, Nancy Pelosi banged her gavel stating both Houses were "dissolved." Shortly thereafter, she banged the gavel again calling the House to order, and then left the House floor.
A man (not sure who, sorry) then took the podium and recognized Steny Hoyer who called for the SOTU speech to be entered into the record, and called to adjourn the session.
I think he well & truly “broke” her last night.
Pelosi "dissolved" both Houses, called the House to order, then walked out.
There is no mention of "dissolve" in the Congressional Glossary of terms. https://www.congress.gov/help/legislative-glossary#d

I thought some of the democrats were heckling the President and she was motioning them to stop.
That is why I was so surprised she ripped the speech. She called for decorum of her troops and then she does that?
It was the Twitter goofball, Fred Guttenberg, who can't admit that Zerobama got his daughter killed at Parkland, and instead blames it on President Trump.
PeriodPelosi had invited him to sit in the Speaker's box at the SOTU.
Maybe it was Fred's time of the month, too...

She is a victim of psychosis and sociopathy, a mental afflction called Trump Derangement Syndrome.
She needs a rest, therapy, and some intimate activity with a Conservative Republican 6 foot plus lumberjack from Oregon.

Is that even a thing for the house to be “Dissolved”? I can’t see any references to that being valid in the US government for this purpose.
Pelosi was mad because it was such a great speech.

It is slowly dawning on Nancy she herself made Trump even more powerful.
She better start thinking what Trump will do w/ all that power b/c she is first in line to be the recipient of it.

If there is no term as dissolve, then what was she doing? Besides trying to make sure that the speech would never be heard of or seen again?

I interpreted that differently. I assumed that a Democrat had stood up and applauded something the President said. I thought Nancy started waving and scolding to make sure the Democrat sat back down with folded hands. But I could be wrong.
