Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA) called on current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to be censured for ripping up a copy of President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday evening.
“As Speaker of the House for four State of the Unions by a President of the other party I am disgusted and insulted by the viciously partisan action of Nancy Pelosi tearing up the speech,” Gingrich wrote. “She isn’t clever or cute her childishness insults our American traditions -should be censured.”
Pelosi made the spectacle of tearing up the speech at the conclusion of the president’s remarks as he received applause from lawmakers. In addition to tearing up his speech, the speaker snubbed the president by introducing him into the House chamber as the “The President of the United States.” It is customary for the speaker to welcome the president with the language: “I have the high privilege and distinct honor of presenting to you the President of the United States.” Following the slight, the president appeared to snub an attempt by the speaker to shake his hand.

According to Newt Gringrich, President Trump 'snubbing' of the handshake was because Nancy Pelosi would not introduct President Trump.

Ask him what would have happened if he ripped up a Barack Obama speech behind his back -- what would the outrage be?

Trump honoring Rush tonight absolutely awesome moment- Hell, the whole SOTU was awesome- I mentioned to my relatives who were watching this too that no president has ever gone this far in honoring anyone- Also really loved when Pres Trump announced to the wife that her husband was there i n the crowd- and I commented “Ya know? Only President Trump would have thought to do something like that, And i could picture him saying, after he learned about this woman “Do whatever it takes to get this fella home RIGHT NOW!- Drop everything and get it done- this woman deserves to have him home for a surprise”

Obama in his narcissism, couldn’t even think to do something like that because everything was always about him- and no one else- He wouldn’t have liked ot see the spotlight taken off of him during his SOTU speech- sheesh- i just held my nose and quickly skipped through obama’s 2016 SOTU speech and not once did he introduce and honor anyone in the audience-

Yep...not to mention illegal as hell too. That was an official, Constitutionally-mandated government document. It was not her’s to destroy. That was the House of the Peoples’ original copy required by law. $2000 fine and/or 3-years in a federal slammer for doing that. The vile, demonic Botoxian should be arrested and locked up.
It did not even seem to me like the President saw Pelosi’s hand. He gave the papers to her and turned right away. He also didn’t shake Pence’s hand—was he snubbing Pence?
These whiny democRATs are always looking for slights cause they do that stuff. Tells you more about their childish mind set than it does about the President.
The Dems don’t have anything but their lunatics, the MSM, their disdain of the country. and cheating. They even cheat against their own candidates, they plan on winning 2020 by the cheating. It’s all they’ve got.
I wonder what Trump will tweet about this, if he will. As it is, any encounter with the MSM will have this as the topic for the first questions.

Tonight’s tantrum by nancy will follow her forever and removes any doubt about her pettiness, lack of control and total lack of class.
About that document, it was not hers to tear up. That document was an official document belonging to the people of our nation.
Charges should be filed.
The torn copy should be entered into the National Archives, as evidence of the Speaker’s mental illness.
I saw her sit until the camera was on her to tear it up. I mean she started to tear it, saw the camera moved away, then she tore it.
Pelosi, due to her age, appears to being subjected/used, (elder abuse) by someone or others in the Senate, who hate the Christ and therefore everyone who support Trump, no matter the accomplishments
