The father of a high school freshman killed in the 2018 mass shooting at Parkland’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School was removed from the audience at President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address Tuesday night after shouting out during the president’s speech.
Fred Guttenberg, whose 14-year-old daughter, Jaime, was killed in the Feb. 14, 2018, shooting, was escorted calmly out of the balcony gallery of the U.S. House of Representatives chamber toward the end of Trump’s speech.
Guttenberg, a prominent gun safety activist, was invited to the speech by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Here we go again... the left keeps hijacking the language. Now this guy is not a gun control pusher; he’s a gun safety activist.
They have perverted justice by adding justice, which negates the meaning of justice. Illegal aliens are undocumented immigrants. Bums became homeless then the latest is unsheltered citizens. They have turned charity and generosity into a guilt trip by calling it giving back, as if the giver owes the recipient something. Males and females are now not really male of female, but whatever they say they are.
They also turned Thanksgiving from a time for thanking God for his blessings into another guilt trip. Christmas, of course, has been stripped of its true meaning. We really have entered an Orwellian time.
Shame he didn’t arm and teach her how to use a firearm for personal protection. Sad and tragic as it is to lose a life it is still a personal responsibility for your own safety and not rely on the Popo.
