I was talking to my business partner and I remember a few funny shows...like a movie about bombing of Iraq with Ted Kennedy as the guy who was driving over the bridge that was being bombed, because Rush said Ted knew how to cross a bridge while bombed...

Also when he did those parodies of himself in other countries. The Ali Limbaughdadi Show (a Rush in Baghdad)...

Rush may have known that he would receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom but I don't think he had a clue that it would be presented by FLOTUS during the SOTU speech.
