Thomas was “face-planting” on the floor because he was hypothermic, Assistant District Attorney Laura Newcombe said, citing audio recordings taken from an extensive home-security system in the house.
In the recording, a child can be heard asking why Thomas cannot walk.
“Because he’s hypothermic,” Pollina replied, according to Newcombe. “When you wash with cold water and it’s freezing out you become hypothermic.”
Later, Pollina put the same question to Valva.
“Do you know why he’s falling?” Pollina asked Valva about Thomas, Newcombe said, citing recordings. "Because he’s cold. Boo f–king hoo,” Valva callously responded, according to the prosecutor.
When Pollina apparently walked into the garage and asked Valva what he was doing, Valva said: “I’m f–king suffocating him that’s what I’m doing,” prompting Pollina to say, “Take your hands off his mouth. There are people everywhere,” according to Newcombe.

Valva told the 911 dispatcher his son slipped and fell waiting for the bus. But first he tried warming his body in the tub.
I am not in favor of "prison justice," for child molesters or corrupt and murderous cops or terrorists or anyone. I would make the exception here.
Or just freeze him to death.
Better yet, bring him to the brink over and over.
i know..cruel and unusual...but a guy can dream.
The death penalty is meant for people like these.
But I cannot believe how stupid they were too.
They had an extensive home surveillance system. Did they not think that it would record THEIR actions, too???????

There are times when an eye for an eye is called for.
There are those who advocate against homeschooling to prevent abuse like this, saying that if they were in the schools, they would be caught.
This disproves that argument in a BIG way.
The kids complained and the school did NOTHING.

Too bad about the kid, but hey, the 8 year old wasn't a cop, so it's all good...
While no punishment is enough for this scum, you can at least hope he will be begging for death many times over the coming years.

A child-abuser and a police officer - he’s going to be popular in prison.
The History channel has several series on prison life. After watching what goes on in these prisons and the regimentation they have to live under, I can’t for the life of me understand why anyone would commit crimes after serving a first sentence..........

Reports I have read say that this poor little boy was also sexually assaulted. May this couple rot in hell and may God help/heal their other children. There truly are monsters amongst us in all walks of life.
