Lamar Alexander: Trump’s Actions ‘Improper, Crossing the Line’
Breitbart ^ | 2 Feb 2020 | PAM KEY

Posted on 02/02/2020 11:31:07 AM PST by Hojczyk

Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN) on Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” described President Donald Trump’s actions in dealing with Ukraine and the military aid authorized by Congress as “improper.”

Alexander said, “Well, if you have eight witnesses who say someone left the scene of an accident, why do you need nine? The question for me was, do I need more evidence to conclude the president did what he did? And I concluded no.”

He continued, “I think he shouldn’t have done it. I think it was wrong. Inappropriate was the way I’d say, improper, crossing the line. And then the only question left is who decides what to do about that.”

He added, “The people is my conclusion.”

He concluded, “I think what he did is a long way from treason, bribery, high crimes, and misdemeanors. I don’t think it’s the kind of inappropriate action that the framers would expect the Senate to substitute its judgment for the people in picking a president.”

Yeah screw that. they bring a knife, we bring a gun.

The days of the gentleman losers like George Will, who we now know secretly despised us peasants all along are at an end.

As for Lamarr..

...He concluded, “I think what he did is a long way from treason, bribery, high crimes, and misdemeanors...

VERY LONG WAY.

Which is why it should have never reached the senate floor and since there are Definitely more coming, Like Jim said..Mitch needs to kill them on arrival.

This is the exact same thing Lamar said when he announced he was a "No" vote for additional witnesses.

FR was happy then, and I wondered if people were actually reading his statement.

“Unfortunately for him there are those who are watching everyone and these remarks will be used against him.”

The guy’s retiring from the Senate. I can’t see him seeking the nomination for president again. What opportunity might there be for his dumbass position to be used against him?

Liberal logic.

If you intend to commit a crime, run for political office.
Then you can’t be investigated.

Asking for A political opponent to be investigated. A sin but not illegal and certainly not an impeachable offense.

Digging up dirt on one’s enemies goes with the territory in politics. The circumstances here may not sit well with some people.

When all is said and done, it isn’t a crime or even an impeachable offense.

He didn’t do that “sin” you claim he did.

Ukraine is a corrupt place, period. It had nothing to do with Biden.

Lamar hasn’t been right since they removed stewed tomatoes from the Senate lunch menu.

He had transgressed "The Unwritten Law".

I believe one of Trump’s attorneys read off the name of several countries that had their funds on hold at the same time as the $391 mil allotted Ukraine.

There is a price to pay for treason no matter where you are in life. He can have lots of bad things happen to him.

The only people who engaged in attempting to get a foreign government to dig up dirt on a political opponent were Hitlery Clinton and Gropin’ Joe Biden. Ever heard of the Steele Dossier, Hedley? Look into it.

Democrats claim it did but I don’t see it as an act leading to the booting of the President from office.

They haven’t met the burden of proof to compel the Senate to convict him.

Dear Senator Alexander. As you are very, very well aware, the level of deceit and ‘improper’ behavior - including outright criminal behavior is shockingly high in politics and political office. Joe Biden and Obama were definitively guilty of actions far, far beyond anything Trump has even been accused of. I would venture to guess that a significant majority of Americans now believe that some politicians, and some in government, have had people killed. I would wager that you believe this too.

What exactly did President Trump do, LA? The aid was delivered, and Ukraine didn’t have to investigate Biden or even announce an investgation to get it.

Another bought and paid for RINO. Rats pull together and circle their wagons and the usual idiots on our side go into their Hamlet routine. I guess I should be thankful that at least he didn't cave in the end.

I'm just so sick of these people.

Being a liar isn’t a good enough excuse not to understand these two SIMPLE points.

You really have to be a total sh*t-head.
