Recently-published accounts reveal that the Palestinian Authority (PA) spent almost $150 million in 2019 on salaries and other benefits for convicted terrorists and their families.
According to the Israeli NGO Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), “the PA has admitted to spending no less than 517.4 million shekels ($149.7 million/€136 million) paying salaries to terrorist prisoners and released prisoners in 2019.”
The NGO pointed out that “Israeli law demands that this figure be deducted from the monthly tax transfers Israel makes to the PA.”
Legislation passed by the US Congress in 2018 suspended American aid to the PA for as long as the policy of paying benefits to terrorists and their relatives — dubbed by critics as “pay to slay” — remained in force. A similar law was passed later the same year by Israel’s Knesset.

Well if we give a dime to “Palestine” isn’t there a chance that it will end up in terrorists’ hands?

I think we’ve cut them off. The article says legislation in 2018 ended payments as long as they continue to pay the families of terrorists.
I’d present their leadership with a symbolic water wings emblazoned with the words “not another dime ever again”.
The United States should cut off any aid to any country which provides aid to Palestinians. That’s not going to happen because it’s obvious now that foreign aid is the favorite way to get kickbacks. Our corrupt Congressmen don’t get rich off their good looks, that is for sure.
Is there any detailed information on the source of Palestine’s national income?? How much from the US, EU, etc?
There’s the NEXT impeachment inquiry - shutting off aid to the PA unless they stop supporting terrorism! How dare we? That should be something to grab the dem’s attention..
Doesn’t matter if it happened in 2018 - they have to find something and this is ready made for them. Don’t pass up the chance to pass up a good chance or something witty said by some dim dem at one time!

I think the U. S. and Europe have pretty much seen the light about what their funding was paying for, but I could be wrong.
Europe generally can’t find a bad thing to say about the Arabs on the West Bank and in Gaza.
Israel has been the dastardly occupier to them. Go figure...
How long would Europe put up with a body of people firing missiles into their territory by the 100s per day?
