Trumpers are going to read that headline and respond, YES, AND HE ALWAYS WAS, but I dont think thats true. Theres too much for him to lose and too little to gain by casting a vote to remove thats functionally meaningless to make this an easy call for him. He has almost five full years left in the Senate and may well spend all five having to deal with an embittered Trump administration that wont do him a single favor if he votes the wrong way here. Hell piss off thousands upon thousands of Republican constituents back home, some of whom love Trump and others of whom think this is a moment to circle the partisan wagons irrespective of their feelings about the president. Hell be shredded in right-wing media for the rest of his life, accused not just of disloyalty but of petty jealousy and grudge-holding towards a guy who succeeded where Romney himself failed in 2012. Hell alienate his Republican colleagues in the Senate, to the extent that he hasnt already.

I think he might vote Scottish Law.
That’s just it.
Romney if he had the cover of other Republicans, would definitely vote to remove Trump.
But he doesn’t have that cover. So Romney must choose between his personal sore loser dislike of Trump, or maintaining some connection with his base.
He can claim a vote to hear witnesses was not anti-Trump. Of course, we know it was.
But he can’t vote to remove Trump on baseless charges like this and claim it was a vote of conscience and not petty vindictiveness.
Mitt wants to vote to remove but is too much of a coward to be the only GOPer to do it.
He already did that with the witness vote.
No. He’s still in Utah.
mitt, the two-faced LIB loser at some level realizes that his life is a pathetic lie and that he is worthless. Pathetic.and
There was no point in voting yes to witnesses other than to prolong the Senate ordeal. If the House wants more witnesses, they can do it in their next House impeachment hearings, which should be starting almost immediately. Hopefully somewhere along the way more Americans will realize how childish the democrat leadership has become and start electing responsible adults.
Romney needs to get un-elected.
He dreams of going down like McStain did on the Obama-Care vote, as a last dig at Trump. Too bad that opportunity will never arrive.
Muck Fitt.
If he could be the deciding vote he definitely would vote to remove. We can win without his vote, so I say he won’t. He’ll vote with the majority to try to save his own ass from the voters.
He might be the last to know it, but he may as well just switch parties and get it over with. Even Utah has seen enough now.
Mr. Principleless will vote in whichever way is best for re-election.
I hope he does. That will smoke the pos out and won’t make a bit of difference in the final count.
Whatever, Romney is lower than Shiffs belly.
I heard that back home in Utah someone is introducing a bill to the Legislature that will allow voters to recall Senators. It would be sweet justice if this becomes law and is on the 2020 ballot.
He doesn’t have the b@lls.
Hes already done the damage to his reputation. We couldnt possibly hate him more than we do now. Right? Utah isnt thinking straight.
Agreed. Romney has no political future on the national level.
Mitt is a man of conviction. He’s still fighting to take Big Bird off the air.
If Mitt had an ounce of integrity, he would have the same values he did while running for president. If that’s the case, he should be fighting to remove federal funding from NPR. I guess the clown forgot about that.
Mitt is a hollow man. He made his living as a corporate raider. They were able to soften him image but he made his fortune as a corporate raider. There’s a good article Rolling Stone Magazine did about him years ago. Does a good job telling what a sleaze he is.
