This is why the GOP Senate wants acquittal done. The GOP Senate don’t want weeks/months more of beatings like this from their “good friend” Democrats.

The Democrats are setting up their next attack: the claim that the acquittal of President Trump is not legitimate because the Senate Trial was bogus due to not having any witnesses approved by the House Impeachment Managers. . . despite the House of Democrats not giving the President due process or the right to call witnesses in their Kangaroo Court impeachment hearsayings first in the SCIF bunker under Schiff, then later in the public show parade of pre-screened hearsayers before the Intelligence Committee’s hearsaying, and then even later in the Judiciary Committee Rubberstamp Parade of Scholarly Regurgitation of Democrat Talking Points. Not once was there an opportunity for the President’s side or even the Republican’s to present fact witnesses to rebut anything presented by the hearsayers of the Democrats.
Nor was the President EVER given the opportunity to face his primary accuser as the Sixth Amendment guarantees to every accused person. Instead, that accuser was hidden by those he talked to and one he talked to ran the inquisition.
And he doesn't want to move back to Australia while so much of it's burning. He wrote a good book about his time there. It's what Lamar did between being Tennessee's governor and getting to Congress.
These Dims are burning down the Senate and any agreeableness that might have existed before this Impeachment Coup. The Dims are probably more than a little crazy from Mitch getting all those judges confirmed. I want this fiasco ended and more judges approved.

Hey Merkley, your Democrats never even properly voted to start their inquiry, so only people as stupid as Republicans let it get this far.
It should already be over, dismissed for improper presentation.

The RINOs brought it on themselves. They could have rejectected the articles of impeachment as deficient on their face before they ever arrived and spared all of us a lot of tedium. How many of us have been forced to find new hobbies like looking for loose hair on our dogs with a magnifying glass and tweezers?

I know just the child; the poster boy. There’s a photo of a young black lad that has been used to make logical political sense. A recent one shows him with a skeptical look on his face, saying: “So in your country, if a cop shoots somebody it’s the cop’s fault. But if a criminal shoots somebody it’s the gun’s fault?” He looks to be about 10 years old, and he knows BS when he sees or hears it.
