Kind of a moot point though as you’ll never get a D.C. jury to convict any of ‘em.
I thought he was helping Sessions run his senate campaign.
I share your lack of optimism for justice, but Durham is not DC.
No need. An indictment is forever, even if a jury later throws out the case. Just ask Nancy.
Kind of a moot point though as youll never get a D.C. jury to convict any of em.
Exactly correct. Even if Barr is acting in good faith the entire rest of the DOJ building is in “Resistance” mode with top cover from the GOP Senate.
The “Trump” DOJ played football with McCabe’s criminal referral for over a year. Much of that time Barr was AG, of course.
Military type tribunals, at Gitmo and near Columbia, SC. The prophecy sez the punishments will be so severe, even Trump supporters who are weak-kneed will criticize him for being too tough. Several very high-ups will be executed, and many will get long sentences in the slammer....from Obunghole on down.
Perhaps take a page out of AG Holder’s book by offering support of the bottomless pockets of the DOJ to support “Victims” with civil suits related to denial of civil right. Criminal prosecution could remain an option but use the civil actions to squeeze the bad actors. It would really be effective if those being sued happened to be Deep State employees of the federal government. Civil suits would be an effective way of removing them from positions where they can continue to harm others. It is nearly impossible to fire a federal employee but they can be removed from a position of authority when the appearance of a conflict of interest exists.
Well, you don't bring the cases in DC. You find a co-conspirator in some other jurisdication and then bring the case their against him and all of the conspirators.
