Whats really interesting is that Shea will be responsible for handling highly politically charged cases. Things that make you go hmmm, right?
Attorney General William Barr on Thursday named Timothy Shea, one of his closest advisers, to be the next top prosecutor in the nations capital.
Shea will lead the largest U.S. attorneys office in the country, which has been historically responsible for some of the most significant and politically sensitive cases the Justice Department brings in the U.S.
He is a senior counselor to the attorney general and was Barrs right-hand man helping institute reforms at the federal Bureau of Prisons after Jeffrey Epsteins death at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City.
As the U.S. attorney in the District of Columbia, Shea would oversee some of the lingering cases from special counsel Robert Muellers Russia investigation, along with a number of politically charged investigations. The office is also generally responsible for handling potential prosecutions if Congress finds a witness in contempt.
Tim brings to this role extensive knowledge and expertise in law enforcement matters as well as an unwavering dedication to public service, reflected in his long and distinguished career in state and federal government, Barr said in a statement. His reputation as a fair prosecutor, skillful litigator, and excellent manager is second-to-none, and his commitment to fighting violent crime and the drug epidemic will greatly benefit the city of Washington. The timing of this and the choice is interesting.
One cant help but wonder if this is a move made to support possible indictments and whatnot down the road pertaining to #SpyGate.
Just a few weeks ago William Barr sat down with NBC Today and said in no uncertain terms that the FBI acted in bad faith in regards to the Russia investigation.
Most of those indictments were arm-twisting, not proving the case, already existing, and grab-bags of anything they could get. They still didn’t start as indictments for 5 months for the first one.
These cases have a much higher burden. A year to a little more than a year is about right.
He probably more or less had to, as they were probably stacked with nothing but liberals, meaning it would have been impossible to bring anyone to justice.
The Spygate perps have had years to destroy evidence and concoct CYA stories. They are much harder prosecutions now after years of Deep State and Dem gaslighting.
Nah
Trump is going to release the nukes in September and October, Comey, Brennan, Clapper, probably even Clinton and Biden
Their only response will be some bimbo who claims to have had sex with Trump 30 years ago
That is how I see it
Big whoop...almost everything is highly political these days.
Impeachment is over and the Dems shot their wad. Let’s see if the indictments are really about to start. The Flynn case is up first.
And don't be surprised if he doesn't.
Yeah it is about time conservatives have an effective “October surprise” to drop that will insure a Trump victory in Nov.
Flynn is gonna pull his guilty plea and be given probation
According to Sydney Powell.

And yet no one has been indicted.
No one.

And yet no one has been indicted.
No one.

“Durham is not DC”
He has to file the charges in DC to prosecute anyone committing crimes in DC, doesn’t matter where he is based out of.
Durham, from Connecticut, has already employed a grand jury for this case - there. In New Haven.
It's a Federal case, so it doesn't matter where the perps live or where they happened to be standing when they committed their crimes.
“And yet no one has been indicted.
No one”
Barr is going against a deep state that has had 30+ years to infect our government and you expect him to take it down overnight....get real!
He’s making all the right moves and is not cutting corners. He has to get it right, not get it done fast! He already told us when the investigation will be wrapped up...late spring, early summer.
Let’s face it...you probably voted for years for many of the politicians that created the deep state. And now you want Barr to fix your mistakes overnight!
That sounds encouraging. Thanks for that info.
Only thing Barr will go for is a cheeseburger. As worthless as an 80 year old hookers discarded tampon, thrown in a NY alleyway, on a hot August night, being chewed on by rats!
Let’s weigh him to see if he’s heavier than a duck.
Wrong. Federal venue is the district where the crime was committed. In cases like wire and mail fraud, you can show venue at each end of the transaction (i.e., where the fraudulent communication was sent or where it was received).
A federal prosecutor cannot, however, simply choose to file charges against a defendant in whichever one of the 94 federal judicial districts in the U.S. that the prosecutor wants.
Federal Indictments are on the way!
