CNN anchor John King defended Republicans on Thursday, arguing they made a "legitimate point" in asking why the intelligence community whistleblower -- who brought the complaint that prompted Trump's impeachment -- hadn't been questioned.
"You're asking the Congress, the Senate now, to remove the President of the United States," King said. "It's a legitimate point for the president's team and the Republicans to say: 'Shouldn't we go to the very origin of this?'"

You guys seem to miss understand the concept of swapping verses blowing. As in whistle blowing verses whistle swapping. Actually, it is probably a good thing you miss understand that. CNN agreeing with Repubes is a ruse for the case to bring more witnesses. Once a witness is called more will be needed to refute or corroborate the first witness and then that witness. The longer this Impeachment Trial goes on the Senate cannot do business such as confirm judges and other stuff. Which is what the demonrats want besides putting the asterisk on the POTUS’ resume for the upcoming election.

John King is fringe CNN. He does not reflect the mainstream thoughts. A bit like OpEd in a print medium, they have to throw out what are, to them, absurd suggestions, just to demonstrate how open minded they are.
