Senate Impeachment Trial LIVE - day 8
First question exposed Schiff’s hypocrisy.
Second question subtly brought the matter into public record which Trump's legal team could not do.
can this dude talk without waving his hands around
Sorry, I have sympathy as one who lost his wife to cancer. As well I once met the woman as I worked with Nadler’s twin brother for 20 years. His brother was a gentle, intelligent man and a geuine libertarian.
I missed it what was Cruz question and thank you ahead of time!!!

I am not up on the significance of Mulvaney’s situation. Can anyone inform my ignorant brain about him?
THANKS in advance.
Look at that fat slob Nadler sitting there at the desk like a disgusting slug. Mr. Chief Justice I have a question for Manager Nadler: “Does it get tiring for you to have to pull down your zipper every time you need to speak?”
Does anyone here know for certain about this?
As I understand it, the Whistleblower does not entitle the supposed whistleblower to anonymity. Is that correct?
OK, it’s time for this “17” witnesses to be debunked. There are 18 witnesses and the President’s team needs to correct the record and point this out.
Mulvaney had a presser and the dems cherry picked it.
Make that ‘Whistleblower statute’
Philbin said that if their requests (for subpoenas and documents) are invalid, they’re not going to get a response.
IIRC, when one of Trump’s team was talking about evidence being kept secret.
I’m watching CSPAN 2 after Fox moved from the trial.
ok, thank you!
I’m retired now, but when I was working, companies had
‘hot lines’ and procedures in place for employees to use
to report any kind of improprieties they might have observed.
The employee was only granted protection from retaliation,
but their identity was not protected,
because if you protected their identity,
you would shield them from any cross-examination.
Otherwise, the system would then be a sham,
and flooded with anonymous accusations.
I was interviewed once about what I knew about
a person who accused another person of wrong-doing.
Both the accuser and the accused’s name were know.
How else can you conduct an investigation?
“Hi, John,
Mary has accused Frank of sexual harassment,
what do you know about it?”
Perhaps it is different in the federal government than it is in private business...
I am surprised, as others have said, that the 18th witness deposition not releases by the House hasn’t been brought up yet.

Why is that? What are the GOP waiting for?
We got another whole session.
Likely they want to end with a wallop.
