I know conservative and rock don’t go hand in hand, but I think a lot of rockers are on the conservative side, no matter what their favorite artist politics are.
I don’t know what Eddie Money’s politics were, but he played the shore a lot in his time.
I am sure there are quite a few pretty conservative rock/ hard rock/metal artists out there. Granted, most of them are not household names. Definitely Christopher Volz from Flaw. Also, the singer of All That Remains, I believe. Blackie Lawless of WASP is it real old timer, but also conservative politically. I’m pretty sure FFDP is as well. At the very least they are very pro military. I’m sure there are a lot of others also.

One thing I got a kick out of is when President Trump talked about preserving the Second Amendment Rights.
In New Jersey you can’t own a slingshot so their 2A rights have been pretty curtailed anyway.

Truth is rock n roll was invented in the Bible belt by religious Christians (Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard) and Patriots (Elvis, Everly brothers). The Commie folkies hated early rock because they understood that rock was a celebration of American post war prosperity. Chuck Berry wrote songs that paid tribute to the emerging teenage suburban culture, which was all about having money in your pocket to enjoy the drive in movies and drive in burger joint.
It was only after parents became so horrified by the Rolling Stones several years later, that the Socialists saw rock n roll culture as something that the Left could co-opt as a means of getting kids to reject their parent’s values.
When Bob Dylan went electric, specifically to escape the political dogma of the Commie folkie scene, and started writing rock songs with sophisticated poetic lyrics, he inadvertantly inspired all these other rock stars to start writing songs with more meaningful lyrics, as opposed to songs about girls and cars. Pretty soon, everyone was writing songs about war, pollution, materialism.
I believe that Jann Wenner started Rolling Stone magazine in an attempt to rewrite the history of rock n roll, and recast the San Francisco hippie scene as the true spiritual home of rock n roll.
We Conservatives have allowed the Left to steal rock n roll culture from it’s pro America Conservative roots. Most Conservatives are completely unaware of this and just assume that rock n roll has always belonged to the Left.
It shows how much Conservatives have had no real leadership for all these years. Did we expect William F. Buckley or Billy Graham to point out the Conservative roots of rock n roll? We needed savvier people fighting for our side, and we never got it. That’s why the Left controls all our cultural institutions.
