I have no idea why the GOPe wants to commit suicide but only good can come from the ashes of the GOP.

This must mean that they impeached WITHOUT all of the facts, right? This is the answer to their request for witnesses.

But for a Republican President, it's a thought crime, and said President has thus violated all norms of the Democrats ideal society. He must be removed.

He’s not in control. He doesn’t have unity within his caucus. He hasn’t made even a token play to get Manchin on his side. This whole thing is a setup by both parties to oust Trump. If this happens the response cannot be found at the ballot box.
The GOP isn't going to fold on call for more evidence.

Mitch won’t fold. His urge to maintain power in the Senate should not be underestimated. Yielding on any point would do him no good under any circumstance.
