LOS ANGELES (AP) — The U.S. has five confirmed cases of the new virus from China, all of whom traveled to the city that is the center of the outbreak, health officials said Sunday.
Two new cases were reported Sunday — one in Los Angeles County in California and the other in Maricopa County, Arizona. The others were a patient in Orange County, California, who was in isolation at a hospital and in good condition; a man in his 30s in Washington state; and a woman in her 60s from Chicago.

The CDC expects more Americans to be diagnosed with the newly discovered virus, which is believed to have an incubation period of about two weeks, as worldwide the number of confirmed cases nears 2,000. The CDC is screening passengers on direct and connecting flights from Wuhan at five major airports in Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Guidance from the CDC advises that people who have had casual contact with the patient are at “minimal risk” for developing infection.

Some Caribbean islands, two we’ve never visited before — Belize and Honduras. Of course, the old standbys for most cruises in that area — Mexico and The Cayman Islands.
We considered looking at real estate in Belize where we’ve heard some Americans are retiring. I think there are American developments there just for that purpose. Guess we won’t though; we’re too old to relocate now.
The CDC is a joke. My tagline for several years was straight from their site that they didn’t know how Ebola was transmitted. They lie about everything. China is probably more truthful in this matter.

You should be fine. I know a couple who retired to Belize. They say to be very selective because there is bad mixed in with the good. You’re smart to stay here.

Remember when the CDC said the N1H1 whatever virus couldn’t spread from animal to human.
By fictional movie scenarios if this is the “one” (global killer),I don’t trust our society to be able to do anything about it. People want to move around and pretend there is no problem/it can’t happen to me/here. Government will be typically useless and business will do business until society collapses.

They won't. As we speak there are probably the equivalent of several hundred Chinese on approach to LAX. That goes on 24/7 at that airport.
I would guess the only reason why the airlines are not voluntarily and temporarily suspending all flights from China to the U.S., is $$.
Just like in China buddy, they are packing their bags and headed to their bugouts. When you hear of massive amounts of Americans flying out of the US, you know they are about to come clean. Same thing happened in China. In other news, Hillary was rushed out of her own movie premier in Monaco. She is probably now on a remote island playing with a doe.
The president needs to tell them that no flights from China will be allowed to land. This is far from over and we’ll have to see how it goes. It’s now obvious that this is serious.

That would be a good start but unfortunately to little to late.
How long have the people been here that already show signs of the virus? Every person on the planes they came in on and every person those people have come in contact with ect, are now all exp[osed.
with a 14 day incubation period this may already be in all 50 states.
If your rural and prepped your probably fine.
If your not prepped and need to shop do it in off hours as far away from “Peak” hours as possible.. Either very late at night or 1st thing in the morning. Many grocery stores are open at 6 am and close at midnight or 1 AM.
I agree with the prep but it is never to late to stop the flow.
