The FBI has restricted all the evidence obtained through the wiretapping of former Trump campaign staffer Carter Page.
Revealed in a Jan. 7 filing by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court that was made public on Thursday, the government said the bureau chose to sequester all collection the FBI acquired pursuant to the Courts authorizations to grant a warrant and three extensions for the electronic surveillance of Page, a U.S. citizen who was suspected of acting as an agent of Russia but was never charged with any wrongdoing.
The filing, signed off by presiding FISA court Judge James Boasberg, further stated that the "sequester" would remain in place until the completion of a further review of the DOJ inspector general report on the Page FISA warrants and the "outcome of related investigations and any litigation."
"The government has not described what steps are involved in such sequestration or when it will be completed," Boasberg wrote. "It has, however, undertaken to 'provide an update to the court when the FBI completes the sequestration.'"
Boasberg's filing made headlines on Thursday for showing the Justice Department conceded that there was insufficient evidence to justify the last two of four orders covering the final several months of electronic surveillance of Page during the FBI's counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign. The initial order came in October 2016, and the electronic surveillance stretched into the summer of 2017 with a trio of extensions at three-month intervals. It remains unclear whether the Justice Department believes the first two orders targeting Page were similarly flawed.
"Todays unprecedented court filing represents another step on the road to recovery for Americas deeply damaged judicial system. I hope that this latest admission of guilt for these civil rights abuses by the Justice Department marks continued progress towards restoring justice and...

>> Trust the plan!
LOL... I say that every time I have a good run at craps.
Like so many others I had hopes Christopher Wray would be the one to clean up that rats nest FBI.
But instead. at each turn, he seems to be protecting the FBI as it is.
It looks like he is just another Deep State operator.
Their loyalty is to the Deep State, their own bureaucracy and themselves - not to the nation and the constitution.
Wray says white males are our countrys greatest threat. Dont count on much from Wray.
No need to apologize. You explained it well!
Flynns case has nothing to do with a FISA warrant. His phone calls were intercepted because he was speaking with the Russian ambassador. Theres no need to get a FISA warrant on a foreign diplomat.
Was there any FISA evidence introduced in his case?
Why hasn’t Christopher Wray been fired?
Why are Christopher Wray and the FISA court obstructing justice?
FISA was used to commit criminal acts.
FISA was once and always an unconstitutional tool to protect America. /Fixed
And we should have seen this coming. Whenever proposing a law or regulation one must think what will Democrats do with this once they are in charge.
He wasn't FBI director when any of the FISA warrants were made. Wray's general council Dana Boente has his fingerprints on the last 2 FISA renewals which were just declared invalid. He signed the 2nd renewal as acting DAG and was acting AAG for NSD at DOJ for the 3rd renewal. One would think he would just retire after getting dinged by the OIG and the recent disclosure the last 2 renewal are invalid.
So here is a question - which one is it?
These?

Or this?
Gee, I wonder who is Wray's boss? Hmmmmmm He could do something, right?
Trump is the Chief Executive Officer of the FBI, the Department of Justice, and the Intelligence community.
He could personally post every page of evidence on the Whitehouse.gov website - before lunch.
Instead, Trump does nothing.
Since the Impeachment started, the Democrats and the Hard Left press have getting unredacted anti-Trump executive branch FOIA documents delivered within weeks.
Conversely, pro-Trump FOIA documents literally take years of litigation, and they are redacted to the point of uselessness when they finally arrive.
And, Trump does nothing.
Yes, but he was when Devin Nunes blew the whistle on the fraudulent FISA warrants almost two years ago. Wray did nothing until the IG forced his hand.
Sequester? Susan Rice “unmasked” all of this stuff years ago.
I agree. We don't hear much from him other more training and check lists for employees..
Still waiting for the step when DeepStaters, including Comey, Brennan, Clapper, McCabe, and some FISA court judges, are indicted and we see them doing their perp walks up Pennsylvania Ave.
Exactly.
