The deadly animal virus epidemic spreading globally may have originated in a Wuhan laboratory linked to Chinas covert biological weapons program, according to an Israeli biological warfare expert.
Radio Free Asia this week rebroadcast a local Wuhan television report from 2015 showing Chinas most advanced virus research laboratory known the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Radio Free Asia reported.
The laboratory is the only declared site in China capable of working with deadly viruses.
Dany Shoham, a former Israeli military intelligence officer who has studied Chinese bio warfare, said the institute is linked to Beijings covert biological weapons program.
Certain laboratories in the institute have probably been engaged, in terms of research and development, in Chinese [biological weapons], at least collaterally, yet not as a principal facility of the Chinese BW alignment, Mr. Shoham told The Washington Times.
Work on biological weapons is conducted as part of a dual civilian-military research and is definitely covert, he said in an email.
Mr. Shoham holds a doctorate in medical microbiology. From 1970 to 1991 he was a senior analyst with Israeli military intelligence for biological and chemical warfare in the Middle East and worldwide, holding the rank of lieutenant colonel.

Wondering if lab workers were selling infected animals out the back door to the live animal market identified as the source.
Done on purpose...no doubt...Clinton/Soros/CIA/China...
“Youd think theyd shoot for something better than a 2 percent death rate of infected in developed countries. The people there eat bats and rats. Thats likely where it came from.”
Yep. You nailed it.
A virus with a high sickness rate but a low mortality rate would be a good precursor to war; sicken the soldiers before your fight them.
They know this from the genomes. You are correct.
I hope China is wiped out. Just sharing...
Not snakes. Bats. The genome is published. Most likely course was bat to civet to human.
Of the first group back in December, most had been there.
The genome is published. Hello.
Russia has had a few.
To fellow Michigan FReeper:
(On genome of current virus being published by China)
Michigan person quoted in The Scientist Jan23,2019 In the next couple of weeks or so, we’re going to see more and more cases. Were going to start to see how serious it really is, says Peter Gulick, an infectious disease specialist at Michigan State University. Right now, were just hearing numbers here, numbers there . . . numbers that may not have substance, but just may make you worry.
From studying the genes of certain animals they can tell which are likely to have or get these viruses?
Thanks ahead of time :)
Let me find my collection of links and post them to you. There are maybe 5.
The story is well known and accepted. It’s quite fun to read.
In short the genome is 96% identical to a common bat coronavirus. They know an intermediate was involved and are guessing civet cats. Of the original infected group, 2/3 had been to the market and were mostly healthy middle aged men.
Deaths are at 13% and infection from 37-63% I think it was. They did downgrade the Ro to 2.8. That’s the ability to infect others, so kinda every infected person infects about 2.8 others.
Quarantine is not going to help except to maybe slow it down.
Are you on twitter?

We depend knowledgeable people like you to inform us.
Thanks.
Feed us the facts the news media lack or suppress.
But please remember most of us (me!) are not trained in technical language and need your guidance. Two or three acronyms and I’m lost.
thank you
Thank you for the link.
I thought last lines were telling:
“Learning the lessons from SARS, which started as animal-to-human transmission, all game meat trading should be better regulated to terminate this potential transmission route,” Poon said. “Further investigations are needed to clarify the potential threat posed by this emerging virus and asymptomatic cases.”

So all this time later they still have those horrible animal and seafood places where diseases can jump to new hosts and mutate. With all China’s strict government overseeing of personal activities they just let that food market filth go on and start another disease? Dumb.
Two? Are both within 10 miles of the Wet Seafood etc. Market?
