This song did not adapt well to jazz, probably because of its beauty and sentiment. Erroll turned away from jazz for something that could have been done by Ferrante and Teicher.

Indeed, it does. It seems Chubby Checker also sings a couple of lines. Parkway was his label and it uses the same background music by the Dreamlovers that Chubby used on his version of the Twist.

I have a 45 rpm copy of the Little Sisters' opus.
