Actually we have seen infectious disease problems, but government entities are soft-peddling them. Typhus has been noted at L.A. homeless camps.

It’s not complicated. The homeless are almost all drug addicts and mentally ill. They cycle through county jails for petty crimes instead of being institutionalized in mental hospitals. Our jails are now defacto mental health institutions.
