So I can continuously rob as long as I keep the stuff stolen under $900 of stuff and never end up in the slammer.

Great! So they can be like New York, whose policy has led to total anarchy to the point that even Dems want to reverse it.

This turd’s father, one David Gilbert is incarcerated in New York state prisons, eligible for parole in 2056, for his involvement in the murder of two cops and a Brinks guard in 1981. The scum doesn’t fall far from the tree.

There is no way possible to suspend this out-of-control official, which makes his mischief all the worse. In fact, he seems to have the tacit support of virtually ALL the San Francisco City Council, and no blow-back at all from Sacramento.

Soros money can go a long way in California. Almost ever objective George Soros had in the beginning has been achieved.

Now THERE is a malefactor of great wealth.

Question - does the DA have the authority to do this?

Doesn’t the judge normally set bail?

I suspect he’ll release everyone... expect his political opponents. So if you’re a law biding traditional American who was pulled over for a DUI you’ll sit in jail .... forever.

I heard in New York, some guy committed a few bank robberies, was released, and then robbed another bank.

Will any of these radicals ever understand the real world consequences of their hare brained policies????

Why doesn't SanFran just cut to the chase, and simply stop all arrests? (that is, the ones they're still making, which are fewer and fewer all the time, it sounds like)
